There are casitas and king rooms with fireplaces, so I think they'd do romance nicely. Our casitas had a kitchen, but no dining facility. There is a terrific restaurant on site, and they will send meals to rooms.

Better bet is either the Elizabeth Taylor or Rock Hudson suite at the El Paisano Hotel in Marfa. This is where the two actors stayed when they filmed Giant a good many years ago. Hudson's accommodation is impressive. Further, Marfa has gotten to be something of an artsy community and without question there is more to do there than in Marathon. Sorry for the delay, but we've been away and just got back this evening.
