We were looking for an indoor pool--and this hotel is overpriced for what you get. The staff (especially at breakfast) was grouchy, and everything in the hotel is outdated, dimly lit, and musty. There are much better places to stay in Lubbock. Keep looking!

you can tell the age of this hotel when staying , there are little hints here and there of its age. Certain things are broken and don't work while other things seem newer. All the gym equipment is old. I stayed with my mother and my two younger siblings. The rules here are way too lax , when we arrived...

Book ahead as this is a convention center. Our room was large, on ground level, facing inward on a huge arboretum and fountain area. Our room was very clean as were all the other areas we observed. The night was very quiet and restful. The included free breakfast the next morning was excellent with omelets made to order. When I...

I have stayed here on 3 occasions. The hotel is showing its age and could use a lot of updates. It seemed relatively clean and the reception desk ladies were friendly and efficient. This hotel does have room-service however on two of my stays when I called to order breakfast they were anything but helpful. I don't know if they...

There was black hair in the shower and bathroom floor and bugs on the walls and in the sheets. The room and hotel was extremely humid. Kids were playing in the pool, which is in the middle atrium of the hotel, at 8 am and were loud as could be. As if it could get any worse, we had a...

We were forced to stay overnight in Lubbock due to weather. The lady at the front desk was nice, but the rest of the stay was horrible. Boogers on the nightstand, hair in the sheets, mold and mildew in the bathroom. I have five people in my family and the woman at the "complimentary" breakfast made a huge issue of...

Front desk, a little slow, was very concerned to make my stay a good experience. The room was larger than most and even had a sofa bed. Was a Holiday Inn before. The atrium was huge with great tropical foliage. Sausage patties, cream gravy, biscuits, and even omelets to order. Soon to have small fridges in each room. Will definitely...

Got into Lubbock late at night. This hotel is very very large. It has inside and out side doors for the rooms. It was a clean and simple hotel. Was happy with my stay we just used the room to sleep. Didn't check it out to much. Very clean and comfy bed. It is a older hotel and the bathroom...

It's an old holiday inn from the 60 s or 70s. Just barely keeping it up and running. It's a large place with a huge atrium. The parking is adequate it would take a major overhaul to update it and it's very needed. The breakfast you have to pay for. There's only one washer and dryer for the whole hotel...

This is an older hotel but very well run and the staff is amazing. The staff was very helpful and prompt with any request and always did it with a smile. Breakfast is great with real eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, oats, cereal, fruit salad, yogurt, Texas waffles, etc. And they serve breakfast on the weekends until 11:00 am which...
