We stayed a couple of nights at the Evergreen as part of our walking holiday with KE Adventure. Unless you have a car Domcan’s Guesthouse is difficult to get to. But should you make the effort you’ll be in for a treat! Grace will greet you with a big smile – a lovely friendly lady. There are not a large...

Lovely owners who have a property set high up above Castle Bruce. Views of the ocean are spectacular. If you're hiking the trail, just give her a call and she'll be more than happy to come pick you up when you arrive. She even drove us around town to resupply for the rest of our hike. Good, self-catering facility with...

The friendly Grace welcomed us. The room was very clean and basic but comfortable with a sitting area, TV and small fridge. The back veranda has a lovely view of the jungle and past that, the Atlantic. We didn't have a chance to eat at the cafe but it looked delicious. My budget had been taking quite a hit before...

I overnighted at this guest house my first night into Dominica just before tackling segment six of the Wytikubuli trail and was quite enthralled by the warm, cozy feel and hospitality which I met there. Granted, to put things into perspective, I went with an open mind, not exactly expecting concierge service or even hot water to say the least...

We spent three nights at this establishment. We were on the first level, which has a wonderful deck overlooking their gardens, tropical forest and the ocean. It was unit 3 with a living room/ dining area, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The galley kitchen was well equiped for us to do our own light...

After reading about Domcans guesthouse on their website we were exited to go there. But we were disappointed when we finally arrived. We were expecting a nice welcoming after reading on tripadvisor about the owners, but it was not much effort put into it. It all felt a bit tired. The place was in the middle of nowhere so make...

Between Segments 5 and 6. Perfect accomodation at lower price than elsewhere, friendly, choice of restaurant or you also get a kitchen. The Waitukubuli Trail would become more popular if there was a G H like that each day (true, Vena's Paradise Hotel between Segments 4 and 5 is also excellent). At the top of Castle Bruce. Beware: Segment 6...

We stayed in a first floor room to get the sea view. Balcony front and back meant you could get a breeze through but we still needed the fan. No kitchenette upstairs but a small fridge and Grace will lend you a kettle and utensils so you can do drinks, cold breakfast and fresh fruit and avocado which are dirt...

Looking for a place to stay that was centrally located on the island, with a restaurant, and with decent reviews, led us to Domcan's Guesthouse. Further review of their website which included "brand new", "expansive living room", "a well appointed bathroom", " a large comfortable bedroom", and "guesthouse apartment" and fabulous pictures provided further confirmation that this would be the...

Lots of nice reviews of this place, but we found it to be so-so, and I'd say of the half-dozen places we stayed during our 3 week trip to Dominica, this was the most uninspired. The layout of the room was odd, with our bedroom being towards the parking lot (and road noise) rather than overlooking the wonderful sea. The...

“It is very quiet there, so no problem with noice. I don't think all the rooms are configured the same, so I would check with the owner, if you have specific needs. Maybe the room closest to the office would get the internet inside, I am not sure. It is a place to enjoy nature and the outdoors, so we did not spend much time needing or wanting to be on the internet.”
