We stayed here during the Laredo Birding Festival. The room was well appointed, had good amenities, was spacious and very clean. During our stay we tried out both restaurants and they were excellent. The portions at the Tack Room are quite generous. My steak was very well cooked. We ate breakfast and dinner in the Zaragosa grill, and both meals...

I stayed for three nights as part of the Laredo Birding Festival and was impressed with the lovely La Posada Hotel, located on a historic plaza in the heart of downtown. The property itself is charming; like going back in time while keeping today's needed conveniences, such as good bedding, free wifi and upscale bathroom. The grounds are beautifully landscaped,...

Stayed as part of the Laredo Birding Festival. Beautiful historic hotel right downtown. Rooms are comfortable and the breakfast buffet delicious with a Mexican flair. The Zaragoza restaurant also serves delicious dinners. The grilled mahi mahi was wonderful.

Due to mechanical issues we extended our stay from one night to three. We found a the service to be uniformly excellent. This is a colonial style hotel with a very good restaurant attached to the lobby. A breakfast buffet or ala carte menu is available. I enjoyed a crepe filled with superbly spiced spinach and some other herbs I...

Nice, clean and accommodating. Well run and attended, rooms clean and appropriate. Restaurant has decent food. Common areas are nice, it was rainy so we could not take advantage of pool but that looked nice as well.

My husband and I had never been to Laredo. A friend of ours highly recommended staying at La Posada Hotel. He was absolutely correct! The service is simply outstanding! We had reserved a concierge-level room. The concierge rooms are on the 4th floor of one of their buildings, card-key access only, with a private lounge that serves complimentary beer, wine,...

This is the second time I've stayed here and I love it!! This hotel is in the style of the era gone by. Stay here and you will be transported back in time to when luxury meant service and comfort! I always stay in the club level and it is so wonderful. It is quiet and private--two musts--and it has...

The hotel looks and feels old. It is located by the border and in the Laredo Downtown area. The rooms have decent space and it seems that the restrooms were remodeled not too long ago. I enjoyed my stay as the rooms were clean and comfortable. But the entire hotel seems like it is from the sixties. I would definitely...

I came here based on the raving reviews to be disappointed from the start. I just checked in earlier today and considering to move somewhere else. Pros: The building has a charm to it and a historic value. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Two restaurants on premises. Cons: Super outdated. It's one thing for a place to be historic...
