Nice Mexican Colonial hotel in the heart of Downtown. Very welcoming front lobby. Room was ok, but not what I reserved. Carpet had a few stains, but overall clean room. In room coffee is Starbucks, nice feature. Very nice welcoming pool & courtyard. Restaurant does not open until 8 am for breakfast. Checkout took fifteen minutes due to printer issues....

Very nice hotel on the US border. They have clean rooms great food and the staff is amazing. Still the old county atmosphere. Food is top notch with anything from a club sandwich to a steak supper. Try it if you want a taste of Texas charm.

One night visit for shopping. Lobby and 2 courtyards are clean, comfortable and inviting, echoing the sights and sounds of the past. Front desk and valet parking were very helpful. Good suggestions for strong drink and hearty food within walking distance. Unable to use the pools or hot tub, but the grounds were lovely. The rooms were large and the...

Quick mid week trip with kids. We had not been to Laredo in about 13 years. La Posada was just as we had left it. Grounds were still pretty, room was large and clean. Hotel restaurant off the lobby had very good food good, ate both dinner and breakfast. Sad we weren't able to go across the border and enjoy...

Love the cleanliness of the room, and the space. Hate the elevators always being out for a 4/5 star hotel. When I book the hotel I'm paying for all the services to work, including the elevators. It is such a hassle to have to carry all your bags up the elevator to check in, and then to the next floor...

We stayed here during the Laredo Birding Festival. The room was well appointed, had good amenities, was spacious and very clean. During our stay we tried out both restaurants and they were excellent. The portions at the Tack Room are quite generous. My steak was very well cooked. We ate breakfast and dinner in the Zaragosa grill, and both meals...

I stayed for three nights as part of the Laredo Birding Festival and was impressed with the lovely La Posada Hotel, located on a historic plaza in the heart of downtown. The property itself is charming; like going back in time while keeping today's needed conveniences, such as good bedding, free wifi and upscale bathroom. The grounds are beautifully landscaped,...

Stayed as part of the Laredo Birding Festival. Beautiful historic hotel right downtown. Rooms are comfortable and the breakfast buffet delicious with a Mexican flair. The Zaragoza restaurant also serves delicious dinners. The grilled mahi mahi was wonderful.

Due to mechanical issues we extended our stay from one night to three. We found a the service to be uniformly excellent. This is a colonial style hotel with a very good restaurant attached to the lobby. A breakfast buffet or ala carte menu is available. I enjoyed a crepe filled with superbly spiced spinach and some other herbs I...
