Hubby and I stayed here for 5 nights. Teresa was a generous host who made our time here very comfortable. The breakfast was insanely delicious each morning. Even though we didn't like American coffee, each morning we had a pot of hot water for our tea. We were in the California Dreaming room which was spacious yet cosy and the...

We were looking for a Bed and Breakfast experience without the old fashion decor and the old smell that comes with it, we found it here!! The Old Mulberry Inn was very peaceful and comfortable. It was very beautiful, and we enjoyed every moment of our stay. The owner and operator was very sweet and made our stay like a...

This was my 5th trip to Jefferson for their annual Mardi Gras festivities. I've stayed in a different place each time but we actually rebooked our rooms at The Excelsior Hotel for this year and ended up canceling those to try Old Mulberry. We were leaving town last year and happened to drive by on our way home. It's the...

When most of our guests stay here they often comment that they enjoy the quiet peaceful atmosphere that we try to maintain. We do have groups of friends that stay and often gather in our library or on a porch. As it sometimes happens they might get louder as time goes by and you just let they know. They quiet...

Location = Too close to loud highway and too far from quaint downtown area Hospitality = RUDE owner/hostess - on more than one occasion, to more than one guest in our group (we took 6 rooms for the weekend) Breakfast = First day coffee weak, food dry / second day I heard it was fine, but I didn't bother -...

We had a wonderful stay at the Mulberry Inn! The Tuscan cottage suite was very private, well appointed, with a fireplace and perfect tub for two with bubble bath. We had everything we needed for a romantic getaway. Teresa, the innkeeper served us a delicious three course breakfast, with delightful conversation. Jefferson is a town we love to visit again...

Choosing a B&B in this town is no small task since they outnumber the hotels by a long shot! So after much debating on which one to stay, we settled on Old Mulberry Inn based upon reviews here. We were not disappointed! We stayed in the Aspen room, with a jacuzzi tub in the corner. The bed was comfy and...

Clean room. Soft king size bed. Soft towels. Endless hot water. Easy going innkeeper who was knowledgable of the area. Well kept grounds and located within a minute drive to downtown Jefferson. Didn't try the breakfast as we went to the Bayou for breakfast.

My husband and I had such a wonderful 4th of July weekend getaway at Old Mulberry Inn (July 3rd-6th). The room was immaculate and cozy. Our room was well maintained. We had all the comforts of home. The sitting room had many interesting books to pass the time. The porch offered a relaxing place to unwind. The inn keeper was...

We were so happy to be back at the Old Mulberry Inn. This was our 3rd stay and were welcomed like old friends. Our room was very nice and we slept so good, except for a disturbance one night when we were awakened by loud voices from a couple that thought their room was too warm. Our room was cool...

This was the only accommodation available last minute for a holiday weekend (4-5 of July 2014). Room is nice enough decor-wise and bed is ok, but we spent one night (French connection room) sleepless because it's was too warm in our room (no thermostat that we can adjust and the supposed thermostat hanging from the wall with scotch tape trying...

Every once in a while you might have a guest that no matter what you do, you will not be able to please them. Such was the case with the couple that stayed in one of our rooms July 4th weekend. I am not going to address their entire post except for the following: When everyone made their reservation for...
