My clients in Houston are all connected by tunnels and the DoubleTree is connected to them, too. A nice way to escape the heat, grab a bite, and enjoy the walk. The view from my room was nice, too. I selected it using their electronic check-in ahead of time. White linens for the bed help the OCD in me.

Very clean rooms, lack refrigerators. Clean lobby and great central downtown location. Always stay here if traveling to downtown Houston. Lobby is clean, rooms are clean, great sheets. Only drawbacks are lack of fridges and valet parking cost, although it is in and out.

If you like the smell of pot in the halls and elevator, parties at 1:30 a.m. and loud hallway phonecalls at 4:00 a.m., this is the hotel for you. And, to top it off, the street noise from below sounds SUPER close (and we were on the 12th floor). It gets 2 stars because our room was clean, the bed...

I recently stayed at the Doubletree in downtown Houston for 1 night on a business trip. The hotel was nice looking, inside and out, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I got my yummy cookie and 2 bottles of water without asking, as well as my free breakfast card due to my HHONORS status. The room I had...

Service at check-in was very friendly and efficient - the lobby was bright and open, but our room was very tired and old. The walls were very thin - we became intimately acquainted with our neighbors who had been out drinking and decided to continue the party back in their room. We know their names and various personal details, not...

My husband stays here at least 6 times a year. He does business for Chevron so it is convenient. We checked in late on this stay. We asked for a room that didn't look out on a garage or a/c units..... The gentleman at the front desk gave us a room on the 19 floor that fit our request. We...

Thank you for your detailed feedback and for being a valued repeat guest. I apologize for the glitches experienced during this most recent stay. The construction project is actually that of the surrounding office buildings, but our guests will be able to take advantage of the beautiful park like improvements, once complete. The desk agent should have been more intuitive...

When I first came to this hotel we was greeted right away. The check-in process was fast and the rooms where pretty clean. We was missing a few amenities but it didnt bother us too much. Rooms where clean however the city view wasn't much of a view.

This hotel was the host hotel for the state of Missouri /Iowa. My first expierence with the hotel was the valet parking crew, very helpful/understanding. Check-in clerks were very helpful/understanding. Rooms were nice. Stocked. My only problem with the room was the low flow shower. Also, some notice of convience stores/cheaper restraunts availability would have been nice.
