We visited Wildcatter to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday and what a great treat it was. The ranch is in a beautiful location with helpful staff and lovely rooms with views of rolling countryside. The onsite activities of horse riding, skeet shooting and a ranch tour were all well organized and gave a real Texan experience. Breakfast was a buffet... More

Wildcatter ranch is a nice resort close to Graham, TX (1.5 hour drive away from Fort Worth). We stayed for three days in a cabin. The cabins are wide and include a kitchenette, a TV set, two large beds and a wi-fi access. The view from the room overlooking a valley was stunning. Although the rooms are wide and comfortable,... We had travelled from the UK and were looking forward to seeing Texas from a rancher perspective. The website sounded great and we were ready to experience everything the ranch had to offer. In reality that ended up being a lot less than we had anticipated. We agree that the restaurant/bar side of the ranch is great both in terms... More

We came here for 3 days on the mid part of our Honeymoon. This place is spectacular.. CABINS: We had a wonderful cabin, the view was exceptional and the sunset amazing, in the evening we also sat and watched some wonderful wildlife. SURROUNDING: the location is secluded but that was the attraction for us. just a short 10 min drive... More

Took a weekend getaway and the ranch is very peaceful. Quite a few families / couples were there and everyone was friendly. Stayed in a cabin and the room was large and the view off the back porch was relaxing but nothing spectacular. We enjoyed the pool area but the pool did not appear to be cleaned either of the... The front staff members were very helpful and gracious. The cabin room was very attractive. My only criticism was that the days events were decided around the horseback riding and rain. The shooting should have been a separate decision as the day cleared and shooting could have taken place. I understand about the horses footing and so on.

My family (wife, teenage daughter, and Chihauhau) spent the Labor Day Holiday weekend at Wildcatter Ranch and Resort. Far from a "Cowboy Family," the entire staff made us feel welcome, introduced us to all that the resort had to offer, and paid attention to every detail of our stay. Our cabin room (15) was impeccable from top to bottom ---... More
