We absolutely loved staying at Connie and Jim's Avenue O Bed and Breakfast! We stayed in the European Room which was cozy and romantic. There were all kinds of special touches such as a fire in the fire pit each evening complete with sumores, fresh baked cookies daily in the room, Sunday morning Mimosas, Liquers in the evening, great conversations...

This bed and breakfast is located near the sea wall and is a wonderful property. We were greeted with a personalized sign upon arrival and felt welcome immediately. We stayed in the South Pacific Room, which was beautifully decorated and had a deck with a view of the back yard. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was tasty and filling....

Jim and Connie were wonderful hosts. The backyard was a romantic escape with a fire in the fire pit each night. Breakfast was huge, tasty and wonderful. We stayed in the rainforest room and were not disappointed. The whale tub was so much fun and big enough for two! The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept well. The evening...

This B&B could be a really nice place but generally it looked old and tired. We stayed in the European Room which is over the garage and it smelled very old and musty. The hot tub in the closet was a little scary! The bathroom needed to be updated. The owners were accommodating and provided a very good breakfast. A...

I booked this B&B based on its good location and price point. I really wasn't expecting such a lovely visit. Jim and Connie are super nice hosts. From the moment we walked in the door, to be greeted with a personalized welcome sign with our names on, to the moment we left, was such a warm and homelike experience. The...

The owners were great, provided gluten free home made food for us and the house is amazing. The huge two person Jacuzzi tub in the room is just what you need after a long day walking around the Strand and beach.

While I really appreciated the owner going out of their way to provide gluten free food for me, the house was not well maintained and our room was dirty. Hair in shower and tub, dirty towels, trash on the floor. I ended up cleaning myself. The housekeeping service (we saw them come so know they pay and outside company) should...

I am so very sorry you had such a negative experience. I do have a cleaning service but they recently have changed personnel so I will have to be more careful with them. I always recheck the rooms but obviously I missed this. I will be more diligent in the future It is so important for my guests to enjoy...

I have been here twice and both times I've loved it. Each of the inside rooms have great tubs. The B&B is located in a quiet neighborhood a few blocks from the beach and tourist areas, but it's a private oasis, The rooms are cute, even rather kitschy, but it's ooh-la-lah, so much fun and Connie and Jim are so...
