Marcy has been the owner and hostess for 26 years. She is a native of Galveston and knows the history of the town and the home. The home is over 100 yrs old, survived hurricanes that have leveled other homes in the area. The home is impressive, the hostess is even more impressive. Knowledgeable of the area, a great story...

We love The Victorian Inn and have had the extreme pleasure of staying here many times over the past several years. The rooms all transport you back to a simpler time and all stress and anxiety just exits your body when you enter this beautiful home. The owner, Marcy Hanson, is an excellent cook and provides a breakfast for her...

My young adult daughter and I went to Galveston for a mother/daughter retreat and The Victorian Inn was the ideal place to stay. I also stayed here in February with my other daughter! This could not be in a better location in my opinion! Close to the beach, great shopping, great dining, great antique stores, historical buildings...this list goes on...

AMAZING!! The home is beautiful, the location is perfect, walking distance to everything and in the historical district. This home truely takes you back in time. I say "home" not "B&B" because staying here you feel at home and at peace. Even though it is walking distance to everything, it is very quiet, no traffic noise just the wind through...

It is such a joy to serve guests such as these lovely folks, I look forward to getting in the kitchen early to make them something wonderful for breakfast, lighting the candles and putting on soft music and that first cup of coffee is an easy slide into their fun get-a-way. The Victorian Inn becomes a big part of that...

My wife and I live in Houston, TX and we were deciding whether or not to book a hotel room for a wedding on a Saturday evening (in Galveston), or make the hour drive back that night. When we saw the Victorian Bed & Breakfast had availability, we decided to take action and book. Luckily, they had a room available...

I very rarely register with websites and I have never taken the time to write a review. My stay at The Victorian B&B Inn, however, is the first experience that has motivated me to do both. You cannot appreciate the grandeur of the Victorian without running your fingers along the intricate scrolls carved in the wood of the Grand Staircase,...

I took my sister here for a weekend stay for her birthday, over the Mother's Day weekend. We were both needing a bit of R&R. This place is amazing! Rich history and beautiful architecture. I felt like I had stepped back in time, to my childhood. And the host, Marcy, is a real hoot! Her stories, pics and articles about...

The Victorian Bed and Breakfast Inn is like no other, in a good way! Marcy is exceptionally nice and has a beautiful home, such history. I absolutely loved the gardens. As a special treat I even got to feed the bunnies breakfast. The cats were also a lot of fun. I cannot say enough good things about the whole experience....

My wife and I came here for our anniversary this weekend and it was a very nice stay. Breakfast on Sunday was pleasant and the other guests shared interesting stories along with Marcy. The cats all have their own personality which it was neat to get to know. We stayed in the Zachary suite, it had tons of space and...

The detail in the house construction is exquisite, and Marcy’s guiding hand in restoration and furnishing has been superb. Staying there was like spending two nights in a museum. Marcy is all that these reviews represent her to be, but one more thing requires an observation: We found Marcy to be what Thoreau might have described as a “kindred soul”....
