Dinner prepared by the private chef is overpriced, overated and you receive very small portions. I can only comment on the three course selection but I did hear that the "portion sizes" were not a value for the cost! I would say hang onto your money and travel on into the town of Fredericksburg for a delicious meal or great...

My wife and I love the hill country, and especially enchanted rock. So on a whim we decided to get away for a couple of days. The Trios Estates seemed to fit perfectly in with are romantic getaway. WRONG! My wife and I have stayed at well over forty B&B's and this by far was the worst. It was a...

Rundown,Dirty Grounds,Needs Maintenance,Upkeep!! Overpriced for what DID work! My boyfriend & I were looking forward to a weekend to help celebrate our friends anniversary. One of the most appealing ammenties offered was an underground grotto listed on the website. When we made our reservation, the confirmation email stated there was water in the grotto(able to be used)but they were working on...

Our stay at the Trios Estate was a little disappointing. I booked a suite with a spa tub in the room. When we arrived there were no soaps or salts to use in the tub. If I'd known that we would have to go buy our own bubble bath I probably would've stuck with the "less expensive" rooms. We were...

A great idea that falls short. While the facility is very interesting it is not worth the price. No value here. The pool had no water in it due to the drought (understandable but never told when reservations made). Rooms was clean but grounds were dirty. Patio furniture outside our room was stained, table had dried soda on it. Empty...

Unfortunately, our stay at the Trois Estate was not what we expected. The grotto and pool were both out of order. The restaurant on site only offers a $55 per person meal - no snacks are provided. If you do not choose to eat at the restaurant, then you are on your own and Fredricksburg is 16 miles away. Had...

We stayed and were not disappointed. Yes it is a few miles from Fredericksburg; however, Enchanted Rock right down the road and the food was superb! It's out of the way and we really liked that!!

Honestly, I really did not know what to expect. My husband and I had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before. We came here to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We had heard about this place from a friend who had stayed there. He thought we would enjoy it, but did tell us how unique it was. Oh, boy...I...

This place is amazing! We had a wonderful, unforgetable meal. We went out there for dinner and weren't disappointed. The chief was wonderful and very friendly and personable. An unusual place, somewhat isolated, but a welcome site away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Each course of the meal was better than the last. The steak was the...

While this place might be "quaint" to some, it was eery. When we were there a couple weekends ago, it had a "ghost town" quality that was not peaceful. There are some neat artifacts and a museum that were unique. The food's fantastic and the service, when you could find a warm body, was extremely nice. We had a massage...
