The Hangar Hotel is a fun place to stay. If you're an airplane buff - it's a must with plenty of planes parked out front. You can take in the sights in nice weather from their balcony supplied with chairs and tables. Try their diner next door too. The only suggestion is to take your own pillows if you like...

This Hotel was a Wonderful experience! The Hotel is designed after a WWII Airplane Hanger with 1940's décor. It is situated so that you have great views of planes landing and taking off. The diner continues the theme with nice views of the airplanes taxing in and out of the airport. We were fortunate enough to get to spend some...

My Wife and I have stayed here several times as the town of Fredericksburg is not too far from our home. It allows us to feel as if we are having a getaway without traveling too far from the kids at the grandparent's house. We love the easy going, yet attentive, staff and the "no kids" quiet of the place....

We've wanted to visit Fredericksburg for years and to stay at this hotel when we still had our plane but it never worked out. We came to Fredericksburg for the Food and Wine Fest and decided to stay a night and are so glad we did! As pilots, we totally enjoyed the decor of this hotel. Our room is large,...

My husband is a pilot and we chose this hotel for nostalgic reasons and totally loved it. The building is well designed with decor that matches the period (40s). The Officer's Lounge had live music that Saturday night. Also rocking chairs facing the runway so coule watch the Sunday morning activity. Loved it!

The hotel seemed new (not sure why some think it's run down?) and loved the old vibe with vintage props in the lobby and the old style phones and clocks in the rooms. It was only 2 miles or so to Main Street but seemed much more removed than that. If you're looking for something close to the main action...

We had a getaway week-end with another couple over Labor Day week-end. This was the perfect place to rendezvous. The Admiral Club Lounge was a beautiful, relaxing place to visit and catch-up with our friends. The bar was closed on Sunday but the Lounge was open and we were able to bring our own bottle of wine and still enjoy...

Stopped by on our way home. Nice hotel. Buddy was a sweet heart. Note to self, Diner and gentleman club is closed on Tuesday. Several places were closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. There are ALOT of wineries in the area. Pace yourself.

Host hotel for Porsche Club weekend. Neat place, especially with facilities to host over 200 in our group. Beds are a little too hard...sore back, but balance that with lot's of driving. Group dinner food (1/2 a chicken) was way bland and tasteless.

This adults only hotel is great for a nice weekend getaway. It sits on an airfield just outside of downtown Fredericksburg. The vibe has somewhat of a 1940's era feel with very nice décor. You can go to the diner which has a perfect view of the landing strip where you can watch the smail private planes take off and...
