We really enjoy attending the dances when Bill Smallwood and his Texas Swing Band are performing in the Pacific Showroom. Bill does a great job of playing classic 40's and also playing a set of authentic Texas country. The hotel is always good and staffed with courteous and helpful staff. Nothing fancy but unique to actually a few feet from...

We're glad you were able to join us again for our NYE dance and we agree, Bill Smallwood and his band do an amazing job every time! We appreciate your business and thank you for the compliments concerning our staff and the hotel in general. We do have a limited selection of television stations available in the rooms, mostly because...

My second visit here. This is a hotel where you travel back in time. Great vacation to combine staying here and touring the National Museum of the Pacific War. If you are a history buff, aviation enthusiast or just looking for something different, come and experience the Hangar Hotel. Make sure to eat at the Airport Diner.

Do NOT believe the management - they lie about this place! I saw one review in which management responded by CLAIMING the HANGAR HOTEL is 15 years old! Nonsense! I use the HANGAR HOTEL as an over-night stop when crossing the continent - so delightful to have a charming place that SHOULD be given five stars, where I can park...

My wife knows how much I love airplanes and she surprised me with a 1-night stay at the Hangar Hotel during our recent vacation to Texas. It was a good stay, and the hotel has a great vintage feel, with lots of small aircraft parked out front. Our room was nicely laid out, and the bar/lounge downstairs had lots of...

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay with us! We did just want to note that our Diner (The Airport Diner) does open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings at 8AM, Wednesday and Thursday it opens at 11AM - in case you want to schedule your next visit during a time when they'll be open early. We do hope that...

The Hangar Hotel is a fun place to stay. If you're an airplane buff - it's a must with plenty of planes parked out front. You can take in the sights in nice weather from their balcony supplied with chairs and tables. Try their diner next door too. The only suggestion is to take your own pillows if you like...

This Hotel was a Wonderful experience! The Hotel is designed after a WWII Airplane Hanger with 1940's décor. It is situated so that you have great views of planes landing and taking off. The diner continues the theme with nice views of the airplanes taxing in and out of the airport. We were fortunate enough to get to spend some...

My Wife and I have stayed here several times as the town of Fredericksburg is not too far from our home. It allows us to feel as if we are having a getaway without traveling too far from the kids at the grandparent's house. We love the easy going, yet attentive, staff and the "no kids" quiet of the place....

We've wanted to visit Fredericksburg for years and to stay at this hotel when we still had our plane but it never worked out. We came to Fredericksburg for the Food and Wine Fest and decided to stay a night and are so glad we did! As pilots, we totally enjoyed the decor of this hotel. Our room is large,...

My husband is a pilot and we chose this hotel for nostalgic reasons and totally loved it. The building is well designed with decor that matches the period (40s). The Officer's Lounge had live music that Saturday night. Also rocking chairs facing the runway so coule watch the Sunday morning activity. Loved it!

The hotel seemed new (not sure why some think it's run down?) and loved the old vibe with vintage props in the lobby and the old style phones and clocks in the rooms. It was only 2 miles or so to Main Street but seemed much more removed than that. If you're looking for something close to the main action...
