We stayed here two nights around Halloween and I loved it. Great little place. Nice cabin, great property, just what I wanted...and a very cool way to spend Halloween night! My wife found it a bit more rustic than her usual preference. I do wish that they had more than a micro wave and outdoor grill (it rained one night...

A bit off the beaten path. Very quiet and many dear on the property. The creek they show in pictures must be after heavy rain because the flow was more like water out of a faucet emptying into a stagnant pool at a low point in the creek. Still a nice view from the porch. Here's my problem with all...

we stayed for one night at the Villa on Grape Creek (not the ranch) - we were in a two bedroom apartment which was beautifully decorated and spacious. The kitchen area was huge and the lounge was very comfortable as were the beds. The downside was that there are only stairs to the upstairs apartment and therefore difficult to take...

Don't rely on the owner's website to give you an accurate description of what you will find. We had grandchildren with us who were looking forward to the animals, but there were no animals on the property. The breakfast coupons were worth $5/ person per day to go into town (Fredericksburg) for breakfast, but the coupons could be accumulated and...

We stayed in the Almond Cabin and had family staying in the Fig Cabin next door. Their website states that there will be smores in the evening with a campfire. Not true -- no fire, no smores. Their website states that there is a daily activity for children. Not true -- no activity. Their website states that you get breakfast...

We booked here since our favorite place was booked up for the weekend. The first hint should have been nobody had rented for the weekend but we had a group of 25 people and they were able to accommodate us. There are 6 cabins total, it looks like two original and four prefabricated cabins that were placed. The first two...

Almond Cabin was a rest place for two nights on our Texan Road Trip, a family group of 4 adults (no little children) we only needed it for the beds and bathroom. Upon arrival in early evening it was like something out of every 'cabin in the woods horror movie' we've ever seen. Upon inspection we found two double beds...

Had a great stay, new owners. Kendall was so friendly and welcoming. Made sure our stay was great. Stayed in the Olive Cabin. Breakfast was awesome. Breakfast was delivered between 830 and 9 as stated when we checked in. Home made scones, eggs, bacon. Awesome Stay. It would have been nice to have a microwave in the cabin, but we...

Upon check in at Grape Creek Ranch we found mice feces on the window sill behind sink, on the kitchen sponge and in the dish rack. The manager, Lindsey, said it’s hard for them to “keep the mice out” and we asked her if she had mice traps. She did not offer to clean it up but brought us a...

BUYER BEWARE... On arrival, this place seemed great. Quaint, out of the way in the trees, but soon things went south. When I booked, the first question asked was about internet service because it was needed for work purposes and was assured that it was no problem. Well not just a problem, but no service for the 4 day duration....

“wifi only available the gift shop area - upstairs apartment was lovely but with heavy luggage it is not ideal and also lots of insects at night time”

“The fig, Plum, Pecan and Peach units are identical, small prefab that are good for a couple or couple with children. We were fortunate to bring a queen 4 inch memory foam topper we put on sofa sleeper that made it sleep able. Other pulled twin mattresses from unusable lofts and put them on sleepers downstairs. Almond and Olive units are older and have window air units that are old and loud but have real beds, but small fridges.”
