My husband and I have been out here 4 times, and we love it more and more each time. Our goal is to stay in each cabin! We have referred many of our friends here and cannot say enough good things about this place. It is so unique and with so much history and feels great to sit back and... More

We stayed in two bed room restored cabin built in the 1800's. My wife loved it. Sheep and Donkeys came around for breakfast. Never saw the owners, but Bob the dog was around. Great place to go for some tranquility.

I had heard of this place from my husbands work friend and we talked about going for years but with the kids it was hard to getaway. Now they are in college and my husband was turning fifty and it was our anniversary so I thought it would be the best surprise. We loved it!! We stayed in the barn... More

This was our first visit to Settlers Crossing, but will not be our last. I plan on booking for our anniversary today. It was quaint, rustic and utterly charming. The surrounding property was great for strolling and exploring. We loved the donkeys, sheep and friendly dogs. It was close to Fredericksburg but far enough away to get the peaceful feeling... More

My wife and I spent a long weekend at Settlers Crossing B&B. It is conveniently located near Fredericksburg and close to many of the wonderful Texas Hill Country wineries. It is not a traditional B&B. They have renovated historic homes and barns to make a wonderful retreat. It is located on a large tract of land with lots of privacy.... More

We returned once again to this little piece of heaven on earth. We try to return at least twice a year and this time introduced my sister and her husband to Settlers Crossing. While the leaves had not begun to turn, we enjoyed the most beautiful starry skies sitting outside the Baag Farm House. And of course, we booked for... More

Stayed with family for a nice relaxing weekend. We stayed at the Von Heinrich home. Loved it!! Relaxing, beautiful atmosphere. The property had a nice charm and loved all the history this property had. Free roaming animals throughout made it feel warm and welcoming. Fresh basket of breakfast breads and juices were delivered to us daily. Just a few minute... More

Setttler's Crossing is WONDERFUL! Very peaceful and relaxing. The grounds are wonderful and the amenities are wonderful. The cottage we stayed in was beautifully decorated with the lastest amenites. We love that it is pet friendly and the animals on the property made it even more memorable. Our hostesses were very friendly & welcoming. Was definitely one of the best... More

We just got back from a couples weekend at Settlers Crossing. Two couples in the Von Heinrich house and two couples in the Bohl cabin. We had a wonderful time. The cabins are extremely well preserved and renovated, and very clean. I have friends who live in houses this old and their houses are way more rickety and drafty than... More

I called at the last minuter for a quick anniversary trip. We had just been thru my father passing away, and taking care of numerous family, and wrapping up a life time of details. Everyone else in the area insisted on a two night stay, which was not possible for us. David understood and opened up his magical bed and... More
