We were four couples getting away to Fredericksburg for a fun weekend. Our party of two couples stayed in the Kusenberger Barn at Settlers Crossing. It was pretty amazing. We loved the old school German look and feel of the place. We thought the two queen beds were comfy and the fresh pastries were yummy. Everything was clean and comfortable,...

A most wonderful place to stay while exploring the Fredericksburg area. Peaceful and quiet. Clean as a whistle and full of history. Gorgeous property with walking trails and plenty of photo ops with the pony, donkey, sheep and goats. Star gazing is incredible. Beds were comfy. Although we did not use it, the fireplace just makes it even better. The...

Each time we come we love this place. There are individual houses, all appointed with period antiques. The owners live on premises and have done a fantastic job of ensuring everything is perfect! We stayed in a refurbished barn with thick stone walls and two bedrooms. I could live here! Slept well in the tall brass bed. My husband just...

We stayed in the log cabin at the back of the property. Very cozy for two; no room for a third. Door frames are very short be prepared to duck. It is a wonderful cabin built over 150 years ago - I wish the walls could talk! All the usual comforts are here including AC and heat, a very large...

My husband booked our trip as a surprise Christmas gift for me. We stayed at Bohl's Cabin and were absolutely blown away by how quaint, authentic and comfortable not just this cabin was, but the entire property. It's a tucked away piece of land that offers plenty of privacy and yet it's just a short 10 minute drive to Main...

Our stay at the Baag Farmhouse was delightful. After a day of touring the museums in Fredericksburg, it was nice to walk on the the lovely property at Settlers Crossing. Our golden retriever enjoyed getting acquainted with the resident dogs, watching the sheep from a safe distance, and meeting Brighty the Donkey. This property is so quiet. We made dinner...

This is not a traditional B and B - which is why I liked it. We stayed in the Kusenberger Barn and we loved it. The location is convenient to the 290 Wine Road and 5 or 10 minutes from Fredricksburg or Lukenbach - yet out of town enough to be able to see the Texas stars in the night...

We recently rented the Von Heinrich house while in town for a wedding reception. It was the perfect size for our small family. We awoke every morning to sheep, donkeys and horses. The place was charming and quiet set in lovely surroundings true to the Hill Country. The pastries for breakfast were delicious. We will definitely return.

What a lovely place to stay . The grounds are so nice. We had our own private bbq grill and brought groceries enjoyed wine and grilling as...

My husband and I stayed at Settlers Crossing and stayed in the Indiana cottage. The house we stayed in was a 2 bedroom with living area. It was clean and decorated cute. The property was well kept and quiet. We really enjoyed getting away and spending time in this cozy bed and breakfast! Highly recommend Settlers Crossing Bed and Breakfast!
