Do not stay here. It's in a really bad area and it's a horrible hotel. I booked it via a hotel booking website. I needed a cheap place to stay in Dallas when I was visiting a sick relative in hospital and I thought I got a good deal. The hotel is awful. Dirty, smelly, dark, old and rough. The...

When I walked in I was surprised at how the lobby looks. The front desk was nice and fast since I was in a hurry for an afternoon meeting. The rooms are good they smell like they were just cleaned. But no towels. Front desk had the towels. All my lights worked. Simple and no one bothered me. (compared to...

I was there for all of 15 minutes before I saw cockroaches 2+ inches long. Needless to say she didn't argue about giving me a full refund. Don't be fooled by the entrance--wow is it much nicer than the rest of the hotel. The rest of the hotel is so sketchy, and doors from the inside/outside were broken. Not safe.

This is not a hotel you want to bring your family or even stay by yourself. The price is the same as any higher quality hotel in the area but it is run like, and in the shape of, an hourly rated hotel. Carpets were soaked, locks broken on the doors, and various non-guests walk around inside at all hours...

I don't know why TripAdvisor won't let me rate it lower than 2 but I urge any sane person NOT to book this hotel. Don't let the "decent" photos fool you. I'm dumbfounded that this place is still in business. The receptionist wasn't very welcoming. In fact, she looked miserable. We got our card key so we headed to our...

Lobby looked ok upon arrival to hotel but as we got in the elevator and saw a kid drinking a beer we started to worry. The 2nd and 3rd floors were disgusting with spray paint on the walls, people drinking beer/doing drugs in the elevators and halls. Mattresses in hallways with people lounging on them. Our room was bedbug infested,...

We left the hotel in search of another 20 minutes after arriving. The outside looked weathered, I assumed normal of any hotel as they would hopefully update the inside first. We walked through an outside path where we noted empty beer bottles hanging from the majority of the "balconies". In the lobby we found it relatively decent for a "3...

Wearing a Hazmat suit would not suffice the amount of protection needed to just walk in here. Checked in after a 6 hour drive around midnight, initial smell of marijuana and crackheads walking the grounds. Walking through hallways, dusty and dirty, trash all over (no exaggeration). Stairwell was disgusting, walked into a hallway straight from a horror film, had to...

This place has great potential, it really does, but is in no way meeting it with the current ownership/management. The best thing going for this place right now is the guy that makes fresh omelettes in the morning for breakfast. The sleep number beds are pretty nice too, but If I was on a better budget, I would not stay...

How could you allow an armed security guard whom you employ to rob by gunpoint your patrons and pepper spray people? This is what you did and a formal complaint has been lodged against you because you continue to do this. The power of social media will destroy your business reputation if you continue to all this to occur

I do not normally share certain things however I think it's important to understand what's happening here.

The owner of this Regency hotel is allowing African American people and Hispanic people to rent rooms, once they have their money, the employed Caucasian security guard goes into the room with pepper spray and mace and robs the people taking their money while threatening to shoot them and pepper spray then then they are kicked out of the room and not given refunds, then re-rent the same room to someone else. In essence doubling profits for one room, harassing patrons and allowing their employee to literally at gun point rob young adults is horrible. This happened just a few nights ago and while a group of young men coalition leaders were coming to talk to the owner, be present while the police come to take a report without the young men that were robbed feeling intimidated and ask the owner about what he's allowing to occur, the security was caught in the act of pepper spraying a Hispanic lady after trying to sexually assault the lady's 16 year old daughter. The security guard left the establishment after these gentleman started to confront him and the guard was not apprehended. The police arrived and took a formal complaint. The owner with knowledge that this was occurring would become an accessory to robbery.

Do not go to any hotel that treats their patrons this way. Ensure your children do not go whether they are young adults or a grown person seeking overnight refuge while traveling or trying to get out of the rain or having an overnight birthday party.. Could be a number of reasons they are there. This is deplorable that young people are done this way. Thank you gentleman for standing up to injustice the right way. Not all of us are willing or able but each generation has someone that is!!
