Thoroughly enjoyed out stay at Bailey's. The website was easy to navigate, and I received timely confirmations. Everything was ready when we arrived. The room (Green room) was large and clean. Location can't be beat. We were within walking distance of dozens of good restaurants and bars in the nice neighborhood of "Uptown" with real trolley cars. The weekend breakfasts... More

My best friend and I wanted to get away from our busy lives of working and raising toddlers for a GNO, but didn't want to stay in a big busy hotel. We had a lot of catching up to do! We wanted a cozy comfortable atmosphere and Bailey's was the perfect place! We had coffee and sat in the den,... More

Recommended by a friend and true to the words, the place turned out to be a great experience. The location is perfect as you have lots of options around while staying here. Uptown is just walking distance and have great choices for food and shopping. Lots of other hotspots are at hand’s reach from here. Service and the rooms are... More

Second time here. Just as good as round one! I am a self-admitted hotel snob and this place meets and exceeds my high and picky expectations. New, clean, centrally located to all the Uptown hotspots and easily within walking distance. Easy on-line booking with auto email the week of our stay announcing the check-in instructions, which is nothing more than... More

What a wonderful guesthouse! Beautifully furnished and very clean. Great location only a few minutes walk away to Uptown's bars and restaurants. Felt very comfortable and wished we had more then one night there. A couple of things to be aware of: No breakfast is served during the week which was a bit annoying. They say it's because business guests... More

We are so glad you had a relaxing stay and hope you will come back on a weekend. We try to let guests know before they book and in the confirmation that we don't serve breakfast on weekdays, which is one reason our rates are lower. Uptown is full of great places for breakfast that are within walking distance, this... More

My husband and I recently spent two nights at Bailey's Uptown Inn. Our standard Dallas hotel, the Adolphus, was booked, so we were lucky to find a room available at Bailey's. We had a wonderful experience there, and plan on making Bailey's our to-go-to place in Dallas. The home itself is beautifully designed and decorated; we felt completely comfortable there.... More

Bailey's Uptown Inn is a gem and mirrors the fabulous stays my husband and I have enjoyed in Europe. We stayed in the Blue Room and were so delighted by the space which is more even charming than its online pictures. We generally steer clear of big hotels and a sophisticated inn is always a top choice but they are... More

Stayed at this great little B & B while in Dallas on a business trip this week. It was highly recommended by a friend and I can see why. Super accommodations! Though they do not serve breakfast during the week (and I thought I might miss that), there are lots of places close by. Dream Cafe is really good for... More

I highly recommend this place. Very comfortable. Breakfast was great! Love the area. Just make sure that you don't Park on the street. They give parking tickets. Great place to relax with a lot of great restaurants and bars near by.

Thanks for the advice about parking, some people don't realize how vigilant the parking cops are in Uptown. You CAN park on the street without a problem but you have to be really careful to watch the signs. We do have parking passes for the street that is one house away. It's reserved for parking passes only. We hope you... More

We were looking for somewhere for a little get away for a baby moon. Although I had lived in Uptown, neither of us had ridden the trolley or visited some of the museums near by. Staying in this Inn, we were in the center of Uptown and didn't have to use our car until we checked out! Our room was... More

“The Black & White room and the Chocolate room are on the ground floor - quite convenient. On the weekend, there was more neighborhood noise at night. We heard it in the Black & White, but our parents didn't hear anything while staying in the Chocolate room.”
