We recently stayed at number in 3 Capeview Apartments. The location is sensation - you can hear the waves, there's a great view and you can walk everywhere.. Just a short stroll to the surf club, the surf beach is at your doorstep and Bulcock Beach is a 15 min walk.
The apartment we had was ocean view ground floor and had it's own courtyard at the rear, which gave us direct access to the pool.

We were a group of 10 ladies who enjoyed three apartments at Capeview Apartments for three nights.
The apartments are well positioned, being within easy walking distance to the shops, the tavern, surf club and beaches.
We all enjoyed magnificent views over the beach to the ocean.
The apartments were nicely renovated, well furnished and tastefully decorated. The beds were very comfortable. They were also impeccably clean.
The heated swimming pool was an absolute delight.
The apartments were very well provisioned with appliances, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, food wraps, etc.
Our building manager, Andy, was so accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. He even acted as a porter, transporting luggage from the car park up to the apartments on arrival and back on check out.
I would have no hesitation in booking again to enjoy a few days in one of these lovely apartments at this beautiful location.

A two minute walk to beautiful Kings Beach. Cape View is the ideal place to stay. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The full kitchen was equipped with everything you could need. The view from the balcony (which every apartment has) was amazing. Nice pool and bbq area also.
Rose and Shaun are friendly and helpful hosts. I had a great stay and hope to revisit next year.

Booked a 3 night stay with family via management directly after being cancelled out of another booking from a booking website. Very helpful and organised and during our stay the management were visible and active.

The apartment itself is dated but functional. Felt like a proper 70s/80s family holiday. 2 bathrooms was good and showers ok. Bed was a little uncomfortable at times. Great position opposite the beach. Good quality internet for the kids, nice private pool. Garage underneath was a tight fit and rather awkward to access but the security gate worked well.

In this case, paying for the position, not the facility. Needs an update. Would I stay here again? Yes. Management are helpful and kids were happy.

We had the most relaxing couple of days at Capeview Apartment. The accommodation was exactly what we were looking for- Comfortable, clean, perfect location, easy access to the beach and cafes. We had a very pleasant stay sitting in the balcony enjoying the sea views, sun rise and listening to the sound of the waves.
Shaun and Rose thanks for having us - we will definitely be back.

This place is a must. The apartment is fabulous and the views are perfect. The owner came to meet me and was really lovely. The apartment is spacious and clean. Private court yard which was a big bonus, and right next to the pool and BBQ area. Across the road from the beach and had a great deck looking over the beach. Well done. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks for the experience.

Remains Caloundra's best kept secret: just across the road from a family-friendly surfing beach (and just a bit further to the million dollar view that comes with the beer and chicken parmigiana at Caloundra Mets surf club), clean and comfortable accommodation, very affordable tariffs, and new(ish) managers, Rose and Shaun, carrying on the same friendly and helpful tradition as their illustrious predecessors, Geoff and Rosemarie. (I've gotta be nuts to be sharing this.)

Dear GazzaJames. We are so grateful that you have shared King's Beach's best kept secret! Don't worry - there will always be a room for you at Capeview! And we agree, nothing beats a chicken parma at the local surf club - right on the beach at King's Beach.

We stayed for 2 months with our two kids (2 and 4 years). For us this was the perfect place!

The managers, Rose and Shaun, are the best! They live in the building and were so kind and helpful. They made us feel welcome from the second we met them!

The apartments are perfectly located, across the road from kings beach, a patrolled beach, also good for surfing.

Caloundra is not a place for party, but for a holiday with the family it is perfect. Lots of playgrunds for the kids, saltwater pool on kings beach. Cape view has a heated pool and a barbecue area in a beautiful garden (the pool is not intended for kids, but with adult supervision and the right equipment we had a lovely time using it).

If you rent bikes you have easy access to all the lovely beaches nearby.

If you have a car I would definitely recommende Currimundi lake ( 5 min with car)-
a very nice place for kids to be in the water as there are no waves. You can also rent kajaks and SUP boards. They have a lovely cafe where they make delicious smoothies and juices!

Caloundra is perfectly located, 1 hour drive from Brisbane.
We used Airline transfers to get to and from the airport. They had good prices and really good service!!

It takes about 30 min to get to Australia zoo an approx 2 hours to Sea world. We went to Sea life in Mooloolaba first. Would not recommend it all though its a shorter drive. It was nothing compared to Sea world, which was really worth the drive!
In Australia zoo your allowed to bring your own food, which is a good idea, because its quit expensive in there. This is not allowed in Sea world where you can only bring drinks and fruit.

You can also go to
- Tin can bay for dolphin feeding (2 hours)
- Noosa for shopping (1 hour)
- Eumundi market (40 min)

With this said, when staying in Caloundra you really dont have to go anywhere! Its a lovely place with all you need for a relaxing holiday.

I have to mention Caloundra music festival (sept/oct)- this is just a short walk from the apartments. Its really worth booking tickets if you going around this time. Lots of good music, good atmosphere, bring the kids! Although the concert area is close by, the music was not disturbing, again perfectly located!:)

Our appartment was not very modern, but it was clean and if the location is more important to you this is the best choice! I also know that they have plans to redecorate soon!

We hope to return someday! Capeview feels like a second home, a place you feel welcome!

Dear NadMje Wow thank you for the awesome review. Having guests like you and your family is what makes our job worth while. Your review was very informative for travellers not familiar with the area, on what is available for them to see and do. We hope to welcome you back one day, to see the unit which is being totally refurbished this coming May. All the best Rose & Shaun

We arrived after school holidays to a near empty building which was wonderful to have the place to ourselves. The hosts Rose & Shaun upgraded us to a 3 bedroom at no extra cost. Short walk across the road to beach/restaurants/café & a wonderful boardwalk. Our unit was indicative to the photos on the website with a wonderful balcony & view of the water. Would definitely go back
