Beautiful resort but it is a drive from Austin. Closer to Bastrop than Austin. Located along the river. Occupancy varies with the time of the year. We arrived after the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. The property is spacious and has great views. The spa was great. Massage excellent and separate hot tubs for each gender. Food was excellent and the bar... More

We spent Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving at the resort looking forward to using their great heated pool. Did so on Friday, but they did not heat it Saturday or Sunday morning. Shivering, frigid kids instead of happy campers. Very bad idea. Check to be sure it will be heated in winter if you want to swim.

We had one of our best holidays ever at the Lost Pines Hyatt. Very beautiful grounds. Food was excellent, buffet outstanding.. We thoroughly enjoyed the welcome ambience of the hotel and excellent staff. Attention to detail everywhere is obvious. One of our favorite places!

Great resort with lots of amenities 30 minutes outside of Austin. It is a huge property with plenty of self-parking. The room was a good size; but most importantly clean and comfortable. We hope yo be back from a visit one day.

Met up with family for Thanksgiving. Food superb. Enjoyed spa pool. Did not expect so many little kids but it was obvious they were having a wonderful time. A little noisy but also charming. A little remote for Austin visits but we did eat in Austin and Bastrop. Will always have great memories of this holiday visit.

Website stated that the pool is heated over the holiday weekend. However it only worked 1/3 days that we were there. The hot tub was cold and then luke warm. My 7 year old was disappointed. Call ahead to guraentee a hot tub not a cold tub. When we checked in, the luggage person told us that the pool was... More

The property is beautiful, and there are lots of activities for kids. However, the food was over priced and the service in Firewheel cafe was awful! I bought the bed & breakfast package and they still charged me for breakfast. After I contacted them, they still haven't fixed it!
