Detailed Reviews

Outstanding view of the 14th hole from site 107. The outdoor kitchen had a gas grill, refrigerator, ceiling fan and table chairs. Casita offered an air conditioned room/desk, bathroom and closet that we never used.
The pool offered welcome relief from extreme 100+ temps. We wished they had appetizers or some food.Hot tub broken which we read has been a problem for quite some time.
The dog walk trail needs more grass trimming because Of venomous snakes. Saw a 6’ rattler. Dog receptacles throughout park were nice and daily trash pickup.
We will be back!!

We have really enjoyed our time here at Alsatian RV Park. Not many trees but they make up for it with beautiful grassy spots. All parking is on a level cement slab with pull-thru for the big rigs. I would have liked more space between spots, but I’ve seen worse. Very nice staff here. Good rate with Good Sam membership.

We found this to be a good location to stay while exploring the quaint town of Castroville. It's within reasonable distance of San Antonio, too. Our RV lot was concrete and level. Although we didn't use the pool, it looked beautiful, along with the pavilion. Unfortunately we couldn't walk our dogs on the path near the pond due to snake warnings. We appreciated the heads up, though. The resort is clean and well maintained.

This is one of our favorite RV places. Right on the golf course. Nice wide sites. Concrete pads. The town of Castroville is nice and we are only 20 miles from San Antonio. The internet here can be iffy at times. If this place has a true negative is that their dog park is really a mess. Caretakers wont mow in summer due to snakes. Its really out of the way and not at all a place you would want to walk your dog. The pool area is nice. Pool is very cold so not usable in fall or winter. Hot tub is nice. The casita area is nice, but can be expensive. Outdoor kitchen area with a casita is nice. Overall, this is a nice place and location to all area activities is great.

Love this park! Spots are level and spacious to accommodate our 45' motor home and tow vehicle. The park is very quiet at night. They definitely keep the grounds nice and clean. Added perk they pick up your garbage at your spot daily.

We were swimming and from the go got accosted & B!+?#€> Out! By a full timer for getting a drop of water on her while she was in the pool!! She proceeded to verbally attack us and I thought she was going to harm my child physically. Not going here again! It’s a shame cuz it’s a beautiful place. I couldn’t sleep cuz I thought she was going to come harass us in the night! Prob great for adults only who don’t like to get wet. The maintenance gentleman is an amazing guy!

Stayed for a week - although a nice park - we had problems - advertised that they had a dog park and cable they had neither - we were checked into a site that the cable has never worked (did not tell me ahead of time) - after i complained they hooked us up to a neighbor and we only got snow and making the TV unusable - according to a neighbor this is a common problem in this new park as the underground wiring was done wrong - many had snow on their tv

Currently staying in the park, nice location and sites.
The cable should NOT be advertised as a amenity. It AWFUL... they need to fix it. Told us that is wasn't there problem. Also, we pay extra to have pets.. we clean up after our dogs.. but there are piles of poop everywhere.
This place is too expensive to have that the crappy service. Wont be coming back.

The Alsatian RV Resort is a great place to stay! The staff are very friendly and helpful. We ended up in a different site than we had requested but it was an upgraded site so we didn't mind. The site easily accommodated our 34ft 5th wheel trailer with 3 slides along with the truck. The sites have level cement pads and we enjoyed sitting at our bistro table with our wine in the evening. Small shrubs cover the sewer/water/power hookups, so you are not looking at someone's sewer hose while you are sitting outside. The washrooms are clean and the laundry room has good size washers and dryers. The pool area is large and there is a lovely upper deck where you can sit and watch the golfers go by. An 18 hole golf course is right next door and offers a reduced rate for people staying at the park. We had free Wifi and it worked the best in the common building. A restaurant is located at the bottom of the common building, and it serves good food. We chose the Alsatian as it is about 25 minutes to San Antonio - a beautiful city to visit.
