This is a warm and comfortable historical home to stay in while visiting in the canyon. Jill greeted us smiling and so friendly, showed us around the house, offered drinks and fresh cookies. She filled us in on some of the local restaurants, places to visit such as the Panhandle Historical Museum that we might have missed. Later in our...

We agree with what others have said, so will only comment on the 0.01% that wasn't perfect. The location is on a main street near down town; having said that the building itself is very quiet thanks to 19th century building practices. Secondly, I am a perfectionist in my house restoration projects and constantly noted small areas where the paint...

When I travel I always look for accommodations that look charming, inviting and have a spirit all their own. That's exactly what was found at the Hudspeth House. Van and Jill are extremely friendly and accommodating. Our stay was very enjoyable. The breakfasts were equally nice. If we are ever in the area again we will be sure and stay...

The Hudspeth House is both historic and charming. We were greeted by the owners and felt welcome immediately. The B&B is over 100 years old and is beautiful! The beds are comfortable and the breakfast is fantastic. We had a wonderful stay, and we are making plans to visit again in December!

My wife and I recently spent our anniversary at the Hudspeth. We strongly recommend this bed and breakfast. It was very clean, affordable, and exceptionally elegant. The atmosphere was enchanting. The hosts were hands down the nicest, most helpful, and charming people we've ever had. The food is five star quality. The city is also full of activities. We went...

What a delightful stay! Our hosts made special arrangements for our late arrival - it felt like coming home! Our homemade oatmeal waffles with homemade apple syrup were the perfect way to start off our busy day visiting the local university! Our room and accommodations were just what we needed to fully rest after our long trip.

TEXAS, the musical production that is offered in the Palo Duro Canyon Park was something on our "bucket list". We left Houston early in the morning and arrived in Canyon early enough in the evening to check in at the Hudspeth House Bed and Breakfast in Canyon, Texas, eat a meal at a local eatery, take pictures of some of...

This B & B is the best I have ever visited. The hosts (Jill and Van) were friendly, knowledgeable and a joy to be around. The breakfasts were marvelous. The room (Chloe) was beautifully decorated with a wonderfully comfortable bed. The building is close to 100 years old and utterly charming. Just being there reminded me of the movie "Somewhere...
