Our oldest granddaughter was graduating from Texas A&M and our two daughters and two grandsons came for her graduation for the weekend. We were greeted royally by Dennis and Becky with fabulous homemade cookies and bars. It was late that evening and those treats were wonderful. The antique furnishings throughout the inn were amazing. Bed linens were lovely and so...

Just returned from a visit to the Ingraham Castle in Calvert, Texas. Our friends met us there for a couple nights. The castle was a wonderful place and the owners were very friendly and really know the history of the place and the town and enjoying telling interesting stories about it. Very small town and nothing open unless you go...

Ingraham Castle in the tiny Texas town of Calvert made the cut for our Valentine celebration this year. Ingraham Castle has so much to offer in its testimony of a rich Texas history where cotton was king and the railroad infused vitality to a small riparian community on the Brazos. Our hosts delighted us with historical accounts of the movers...

We really liked the decor and the breakfast was good but not anything special. However, when we pulled up we were a little put off. Looks beat up outside and...

Between the history, furnishings, iced tea with apple pie a la mode outside in the gazebo, breakfast, quaint town of Calvert, and especially the hosts -- it was a wonderful experience that we will not forget. Unfortunately we could only stay one night but we will return!

This was a fun stop on our way back to Houston. Our room was great, bed was beautiful and mattress comfortable. Dennis and Rabecca were very friendly and had a lot of knowledge of the house and town. We definitely will be stopping in again!

I stayed at the Hammond House for two nights during my recent family reunion. I was so pleased to see the building renovated and functioning as a Victorian Bed & Breakfast. The Hammond House has had a varied history, most of it well known by its current owners, Dennis and Rabecca. I've seen the Hammond House in its Victorian splendor,...

I attended a birthday party in Calvert and stay at the Hammond House. Dennis & Rabecca have great knowledge of the history of the Hammond House and Calvert, great breakfast conversation. Best breakfast I have ever had at a B & B. I highly recommend the Hammond House. Ann From Houston

I visited the Hammond House during a recent stay with my ghost investigation group. Dennis and Rabecca are very knowledgable about the history of the area and the people. They made all of us feel welcomed and treated us as part of the family. If you want to visit a beautiful town with charm, antique boutiques and some very friendly...
