We had a total of 8 rooms booked for a wedding near by. We rang in advance and informed them that we would need a cot, however on arrival we were informed that this was given another guest and 'there was nothing they could do' slightly annoying having a baby with us. However, nothing compared to the appalling display of...

Lovely rooms, however staff need some lessons in customer relations. We booked 8 rooms and we're made to feel very uncomfortable, one member of staff spoke to our children in a disgusting manor, she was very rude about us to another member of staff ( when she thought we couldn't hear). We paid £200 a room for two nights to...

Service and the way staff spoke to us was horrendous . Our party had booked 8 rooms and every member of the party was surprised and horrified at the way we were spoken to by the staff. We had booked a cot, which was not available when we arrived. One member of staff was shouting at another using disgusting language...

Nice camp site, beautiful views and lovely location for walking. The camping itself wa good, though a little more structure and defined pitches would be beneficial. The pub on site is handy, but over priced. The toilets and shower facilities need regular cleaning. There are two shower cubicles and 3 toilets (two were out of operation when we were there)...

We stayed in Room 3, a 'superior' room which was very clean with a huge bed, good quality furniture and fittings and lots of space to move around. We were rather puzzled by the 'extra' door next to the bathroom but discovered later that this was a facility which is available to disabled guests (apparently for an additional charge). The...

Superior room was very good. Restaurant seemed overpriced. Probably still at Tour de France levels. We were there on the night a fire broke out in the hotel , evacuation went smoothly. Because of this it is probably not fair to comment further. Hope no jobs are lost and that everything is restored quickly. Fire, police and ambulance services were...

Several items not available from the menu in the restaurant. Fearby Whale came with 8 chips - this seemed standard - Suppose it makes it easy for kitchen staff to ensure portion control! Whilst the fish was huge it was pretty tasteless. Other meals were badly over cooked - actually black and charred. Fabric on the chairs was badly stained....

Never been greeted with the words "What's yer name" before, and that set the tone for customer service. The good bit was the room which was very large and comfortable. Breakfast was one egg, one bacon rasher two small sausages plus a few mushrooms and tomatoes. Request for an extra egg (how much does an egg cost?!) instead of black...

We stayed here for a 2 night break with my husband and our two young children. When we arrived, there was no entrance sign on the door and it wasn't very obvious where the opening to the hotel was, meaning we knocked on a door which was left unanswered. After a minute of looking around we finally found the correct...
