The superior double room was lovely. Huge comfortable bed, spa bath, plenty of space and view has sunrise over the caravan site. Better than it sounds. There is plenty of parking available and the staff are friendly. Well placed to walk and in easy reach of Masham a couple of miles up the road. Evening meals are tasty and better...

Just got back from a two night break at The Black Swan. The pub was excellent with great food and a gorgeous log burner to sit and have a drink around. The staff were very nice too. Our bedroom was lovely, with a great outlook over the fields. Would highly recommend this place.

Decided to take a trip to this family friendly pub just inside the Yorkshire Dales a few miles last Masham. The pub and restaurant have benefitted from a recent refit but still you get a friendly welcome and a decent pint of the local brews. We opted for the traditional Sunday lunch and was not disappointed as the quality and...

Bought wowcher deal of two night bed and breakfast with dinner and glass prosecco. Rooms behind bar/restaurant in house. Large rooms with no character and feature wall scraped in two rooms we saw. Bathroom initially looked nice but poor finishing. Toiletries supplied. Hairdryer, TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Wi-fi free for 30 minutes, which we found disappointing. Every time toilet...

Stayed at the Black Swan for one night. Accommodation was similar to Travel Lodge - nice to have a bath and not a shower for a change! Evening meal was really lovely! I had Garlic Mushrooms Starter and Steak and Ale Pie Main Course - both arrived promptly and both were beautifully cooked! Compliments to the Chef! Possibly the best...

Just returned from a wonderful 2 night break including dinner on first night and breakfast each morning. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived, from the warm welcome, the lovely spacious room with refreshments and small bottle of prosecco to the fantastic food, lovely atmosphere with roaring fire in the lounge and great service. There are beautiful views and...

Positives:- We found the staff to be friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean. The bathroom was lovely in our superior room. Food was of a reasonable standard for a pub, although expensive for what it was, and the location is great. However: - When we saw the photographs and description of the location and view, we didn't expect...
