Our room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. We were very pleased with the housekeeping employee. She was very courteous and seemed to care that our stay was more than satisfactory. This was our second visit here.

If you are looking for a cheap and decent nights sleep this is the place to be. It was really cheap compared to all the other hotels in the area. The room was big and clean. All they have are rooms with 2 queens or 2 full beds. No king beds available. This is non smoking but I smoked right...

Pros is it's cheap there is a ceiling fan in the room the remote was in a bag I guess to keep germs off. Cons is its close to a prison there is no or little breakfast. I could have spend a little more on the hotel and got a good breakfast It's a old hotel but it is cheap.

We recently spent two nights in this hotel while attending the state baseball tournament. We selected this hotel because of its lower rates. It is an older hotel, but it is well-maintained,clean and very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and we enjoyed visiting with them. We didn't use the swimming pool, but it looked to be clean. The breakfast...

Good value. We're bird lovers, so loved the cliff swallows under the high check-in entrance, and hummingbirds at the purple mallows out front. What a treat. A few light bulbs were out in the room, but not a problem as we weren't staying up long. Breakfast too unhealthy. Orange drink (mostly corn syrup) instead of actual juice. And just sugary...

Husband and I were passing through Brownwood on our way home. We just needed a place to sleep so didn't want to spend $100+. Found Gate 1 on Internet and after driving by all the other motels on the main drag, we ventured down 377S to look at this one. It is definitely an older motel but the convenience of...

I have stayed here before and was pleased with the accommodations. The room was clean and comfortable with coffee maker and all the necessities. The clerk was friendly and helpful. I will return here again.

This is our second time to stay here as it is close to where we need to be. If you are looking for a 4 star experience, that's not what this is or pretends to be. It is a large very clean room with microwave, refrigerator, and comfortable enough beds. It is definitely older and dated but I have been...

This motel is much better than it looks from the outside and it was very easy to find. The owners were helpful. Our room with clean and spacious. My only complaint was the bed side lamp did not really work on both sides. ( I did tell the office when we were leaving .) Internet was good and there was...

I typically don't stay at one star motels and was shocked at the poor condition of the room. This was a hunting trip and we wanted to stay close to the lease and it ended up being a poor decision. The ratings I saw for the property were way too high for the room that I stayed in. The problems...
