We spend a few nights here and could not be happier. Very clean and great staff willing to help you with all needs. It was so quite and peace full and we had a great view. The café had great food loved our breakfast. This is a must if you are in Bastrop and cannot ask for better.

Recently renovated rooms. Had a king sized bed and a restful sleep. Absolutely quiet. Staff was very friendly and understanding. Lake Bastrop Lodge is worth a short drive from town for the comfort offered.

Good place for reasonable prices. Not luxury, but good value. Room was clean and staff was great. Had dinner and breakfast in the cafe and thought the meals were excellent. I highly recommend the Friday night special of Blackend Catfish.

We missed the turn in cause we didn't see the sign....but once we checked in and got our room we were so pleased. The food is excellent, people very friendly and we felt very safe there, plus extremely well taken care of. We will go back again and would highly recommend it.

Their sign out by the highway says open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We stopped by one weds to have their all you can eat catfish they advertise on a real big sign. We were told they didn't open their restaurant until five o'clock. We will never go back. I hope they understand why they lack customers.

We stayed in the Deluxe rooms in the main building. Rooms were nicely done. The bed was very comfy. The owners were sweet and helpful. Our kids ran around in the large grassy area out back and played tetherball. We would definitely stay here again. It was nice to "go local" instead of staying with a chain hotel.

We stayed here after purchasing a Groupon. The property was a renovated motel and definitely had an old feeling. It had been updated inside with a comfortable lobby but the outside was very run down and needed a lot of TLC. It was very scary at night as the lighting around the motel and parking lot was very poor. We...

Our overnight stay at Lake Bastrop Lodge was very nice. We stayed in Room 8 upstairs on the back side. (I would recommend requesting a room on the back side overlooking the pool as road noise is not as easily heard.) The room was extraordinarily clean, nicely appointed, and recently updated. Nice (faux) wood floors, small refrigerator in the room,...
