There's holes in the walls of the rooms where they ripped the phones out. This means you can hear every word said in the room next to you. The lobby looks nothing like the pictures. This is an old roadside motel they slapped a coat of pain on and are trying to call it a lodge. The front desk keeps...

This is the place to stay! Our room was great, fireplace was a pleasnt surprise. Housekeeping was outstanding. Close to Cades Cove and to other parts of the park. Many amenities. ..indoor and outdoor pool, quiet walkway, gazebo and more. Price was great. We will definitely stay here on our next visit.

This is the first time using trip advisor and I must say I was a little hesitate. But we had a great experience. The rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. The two guys working the office when we checked in were very pleasant and helpful. The inside pool was also very clean. We would definitely stay here...

Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review, and we're so glad you enjoyed your stay! I completely agree that we need more signage by the road, but unfortunately the strip of land between our buildings and the road is owned by the state (they took it for a road-widening project a while back and still own...

This resort is very close to the entrance to the Great Smoky National Park. My room was very comfortable, the mattress itself was a dream to sleep on. Full fireplace, great internet and TV, speaking of TV my room had a large flat screen TV. Room was spacious, plenty of parking. I honestly could not begin to think of anything...

Good place to stay!! Moderately renovated to make it nice enough. Shower was great, nice bed, great TV. Good economical place to dive in. Yes, will stay again with our little fury kid. Cons are people slamming doors. Could hear the couple talking and watching TV next door until 1:00 AM.

Always clean and neat. Great location. Away from hustle and bustle of crammed downtown area. Close amenities like bike rental, restaurants (BBQ across the street). Walking path in front. Employees welcoming and friendly. Go above a beyond. Our third stay and there will be more.

We were really impressed at how much we loved this quiet place. My husband and I did a last minute birthday getaway and didn't have high hopes of finding a really good place to stay on such short notice. We have a chihuahua and he wanted to come too so that shorten our list of options quite a bit ....

We love to go to Townsend because it's away from the craziness of downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and it's right at the entrance of the national park. Cade's Cove is a short drive away. We decided at the last minute to go to the mountains for the weekend and I searched places on Expedia. Even though the reviews on...

I booked a simple king size room (all we needed was a bed & bathroom), it was actually more like a suite! There was an awesome couch, marble desk & television in the front room. Then, a small hallway with bathroom, mini fridge, microwave & Keurig. The bed was pillowtop with a down comforter and a television in the bedroom...

This was a great little hotel on the quiet side of the Smoky Mountains. The rooms are basic but large and very clean. They are close to Cades Cove and the Smoky Mountain park. This will be my families go to hotel from now on.
