Townsend itself is quite little town just outside Cades Cove. Great choice if you don't want the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge or Gatlenburg but fairly close so you can head over and catch the shows etc... in either. If you coming here take...More
First - thanks everyone for the recommendation. The reviews helped make the decision to stay here. We used to live close by and never needed a room, so your help is appreciated.

We are located less than 2 miles from the Cades Cove entrance to the Smoky Mountains National Park. In the park you can enjoy hiking on the many trails throughout the park some with waterfalls as their destination. The park also has the Cades Cove motor loop where you can see wildlife such as bear, dear, turkey along with some of the old cabins and churches. Within a few minutes drive we also have horseback riding and zip lines. In the summer months you can float down the Little River, located just across the street. We do offer group rates, please contact us by phone at (865) 238-0123 for more information on group rates.
