Nice little Inn close to Cades Cove and Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Older Inn but kept nice. Friendly staff. closets place for visiting Cades Cove and only a 30 minute drive. Small town atmosphere.

We stayed in Townsend because the location is good for visiting Cades Cove and the Tremont area of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, but we found the Talley Ho Inn to be a disappointment. Townsend itself is rather overpriced, so hotels are more expensive than, say, Cherokee or Brevard. First off, we stayed in one of the drive-up-to-the-door rooms...

We stayed in one of the "original eight" rooms. These are the economy rooms but had a very charming appeal. We needed a room that was close to the Nat'l Park for some motorcycle riding. The room had the basics and was clean. Please note that these rooms do not have a coffee maker or hair dryer. We ate a...

We were so grateful to find a room at Talley Ho inn.........they told us it would be small but comfortable but that was fine with us.........it was charming, comfortable and plenty sufficient for us. If we go back to that area, we will definitely try to get a room there.

I only stayed for one night but the room was large, immaculate and very comfortable. No noise to disturb, A/C worked great, nice grounds and less than one mile from the Nat'l Park. Not luxurious but very nice. I will stay again and again!

I stayed in one of the "original 8" motel rooms for one night. Unlike other reviewers, I did not find the room too small; I actually thought it was a good size. I thought it was vintage and quite charming actually and it appeared clean and smelled nice. A few issues though: there are only 2 outlets in the entire...

This is a great place to stay... if you want peace and quite. We sit out on the balcony over-looking the green and have coffee of a morning.. the on site restaurant is very good too. Very nice... close enough to all the attractions but far away from the hustle and bustle.

I made a return trip to Townsend and stayed here again. It is not bad but will never be mistaken for fancy. I had room 120 which is their handicap room, very large with a small kitchen. If I go back would request this room. It is also right next to the lobby and seems to have better internet connections.

Best hidden secret in TN. Very friendly staff, reasonable rates, clean rooms, and well maintained exterior. Great location for traveling to Cades Cove, Maryville, and many other attractions. I highly recommend this hotel and will be staying there again soon. There is a restaurant in the parking lot (can't remember the name), walking distance to rooms, in need of some...
