My wife and I researched opportunities near Nashville, TN to celebrate our 40th anniversary. We decided to stay at the Inn at Evins Mill. What a great decision! We were more than pleased by the courteousness and attentiveness of all the staff. The food and service were spectacular. Gourmet coffee in the room, beverages and snacks available all day, and,...

My husband and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary this past weekend and truly enjoyed our stay. There are 3 cabins with 4 separate accommodations (total of 12 rooms). Each one has privacy with its own balcony and rocking chairs overlooking the mill and creek. We loved listening to the water! The property is shady and peaceful. Dinner, breakfast, and...

We spent one night at The Inn at Evins Mill, in one of the smaller rooms. It is a lovely spot. We loved the huge porch off the main house, and the mill was interesting also. We had dinner and breakfast at the Inn, which was also good. The atmosphere is very relaxing. One word of warning though - some...

The rooms are very simple, with bed(s), a desk, bathroom, small refrigerator, coffee maker, though lighting was minimal. The deck in each of my two rooms had 2 wooden rocking chairs. It was nice to sit on the patio in the morning and enjoy the sounds of the surrounding "forest" and creek. The rooms had vaulted ceilings (2nd floor of...

My wife and I visited Evins Mill for a second time in the past year. Our second experience was just as amazing as the first visit!!! The accommodations simply put you in the 'mode of relaxation'. We are so thankful to have found Evins Mill. For us, it is a very easy two hour drive to Smithville and then we're...

Evins MIlls is a great place - if you have a night or two and want a getaway from Nashvile, Knoxville, Chattanooga, etc. - this place is a gem. It's rural, unpretentious, very relaxed - with cabins, swinging porch benches, and even a 20 minute hiking trail that leads to incredible waterfalls. Yet - it also offers first rate, gourmet...

My wife and I booked our visit as a 'spur of the moment' trip, for just the two of us to get away. Couldn't have asked for a better, more relaxing location. Also got to take in the final night of the Jamboree in Smithville, which was fantastic. Have stayed at several B&B's over the years, and have to say...

Found the Inn at Evins Mill just by searching bed and breakfast places in Tennessee. The atmosphere and accommodations set the tone for the relaxing laid back feeling that overcomes you by being there. The hike to the falls was not too long, and the actual waterfall itself was beautiful. I cannot imagine the beauty and colors during the autumn...

The INN at Evins Mill, Smithville TN, is about 80m east of Nashville near the Cumberland Plateau. It is a beautiful location about 2m outside of Smithville on a back country road, about 40 acres of property, including an old Grist Mill (which is being turned into a Conference Center on the property). There are only 12 rooms available in...
