This was, without a doubt, the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in. Yes, it had a king bed, microwave and fridge, but no chair! No place to sit except the bed! Oh yeah, there is a window seat, with burn holes in it (non-smoking room), but if you were over 10 years old, you'd fall out of it--definitely not for adults. On the other hand, it was clean, quiet and convenient. BUT, $150 for Saturday night and $45 for Sunday night. I know, it's the Great Smoky Mountains and you have to pay to play, but this was ridiculous! And, I'll bet it's $175/night in October! The staff was somewhat helpful, but not outgoing. We stayed 2 nights in transition home from the beach. 1 night would have been enough, 2 is the max. Not even a chair!

Recent stay was actually good for the inexpensive price that was given to us. We had a good clean double room that comfortable bedding, nice spacious room and courteous staff. Because of Covid no hot breakfast as so many hotels have canceled that but otherwise a decent place for the price.

I initially chose this place based on previous reviews however I learned that ownership changed. Upon arrival it was okay, older but renovated entryway, no big deal. Our first room had a leaking toilet and the refrigerator didn't work. It was also very outdated and dirty. I informed the front desk staff, he apologized and provided us with a different room. This room smelled of mildew, had holes in the walls, stains on the sheets window seat pillow along with cigarette burns. This was not acceptable, we chose to leave. Front desk staff attempted to inform me that the sheets were "just yellow". No, they were yellow in the corner. I took pictures to show him and once I showed him he no longer attempted to argue with me. I asked for a receipt to prove he refunded my credit card and we left. Overall the hotel smelled of mildew, initially something I was willing to overlook but the lack of care for the rooms was overwhelming. The stair well leading up to our room was not painted, had patches spackled, cobwebs and again, dirty. The housekeeping staff has the audacity to leave an envelope for a tip... Not sure what they want to be tipped for when everything is for sure, not clean. If you literally just need a bed to sleep in and don't mind all the other issues, this is fine.
