Upon arrival, it took over an hour to get into my room. The key cards would not work after trying both over and over. I went back to the front desk and a lady was lecturing me on how to use the cards instead of giving me new ones that would work. After finally getting into our room, we noticed trash on the fourth floor hallway carpet that remained to our last day and was never cleaned. The carpet in our room was terrible and had holes and red stains. The beds were clean and so was the bathroom. On our next day, I couldn't get into the breakfast room and knocked and knocked and was ignored by the attendant. I went back to the front desk and was told how to enter. The staff all acted as if they hated to help except the deck clerk when I first arrived, and one of the cleaning ladies who was nice and helped me get into my room. We asked for full service cleaning and got a bag full of towels and supplies left outside of our door and several other doors had the same bags outside of their doors. This was NOT a good stay and Choice Hotels should be ashamed. We won't be coming back!

We originally booked for 3 nights based on reviews and pictures we saw of hotel. One night, was one night too many. We checked out after first night and went to a better hotel. The hotel looks nothing like the pictures inside or out and it's dingy and dirty. In serious need of upgrades. They only have 1 elevator for each side A and B so during busy times like spring break the wait is ridiculously long. Get to our room and there a funky smell. Figure maybe from housekeeping. Turned on AC to try to air it out a bit. Started to smell a bit better, left for dinner, came back and noticed smell again again. Really weird. The bed was not very comfortable, the pillows were half the normal size, bunch of pillows but all of them were mini and not very comfortable. Room had a whirlpool tub up on a platform out near the bed. Tub looked like it could of been cleaned a lot better. Platform is dangerous at night if having to use bathroom, upon returning to bed trip over platform, not very fun. The ac ran constantly all night instead of cycling on and off even though set on auto. Annoying having to listen to that all night. Wi-Fi was a joke, slow as anything. Didn't bother going to pool as it was packed with screaming kids and adults not paying attention. If this is what Choice Hotels has come to they have seriously gone down hill. Don't waste your money here. Go up to Gatlinburg and get a hotel on the river with a private balcony for a little more money. Better quality, cleaner, more relaxing.

Took a much-needed little trip to the Smokey's for a night. This Comfort Inn & Suites is a great choice. Excellent location right downtown; close to everything; several buildings comprise this property; room was recently remodeled; extremely clean; bed very comfortable; courteous and efficient front desk folks. We were in Bldg B, toward the back; very quiet. Couldn't ask for anything more. Good choice at a good price point.

We spent 4 nights here and it is a decent hotel the property is pretty much across the street from the main road to Dollywood and just down the street from the Stampede. You can walk to the Stampede if you are able to get across the street. Breakfast was the same each day and the food was handed to you on a plate. The rooms were clean and we got fresh towels on the 3rd day by just asking. the only real negative is the size of the bathroom. Very small and hard to move around in.

We had a room with jacuzzi, balcony, and fireplace. Our room was very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the price was very reasonable. The staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
