Nestled in the heart of downtown Nashville, the Comfort Inn Downtown Nashville-Music City Center is lauded for its prime location, a stone's throw from Broadway's vibrant scene. While the atmosphere is considered somewhat dated by numerous guests, the majority acknowledge the hotel's value, especially given its enviable spot. Accommodations receive mixed reviews, with several guests commending the cleanliness and comfort, but others pointing out maintenance issues. The staff's friendliness often shines through, although some guests have encountered inconsistent service. Popular amenities like the enjoyable pool and the breakfast omelette station stand out, even as some suggest a refresh is in order.

Room was very clean, comfortable bed, easy walk to Music City Center. Staff was all very courteous and allowed me to drop my bag prior to check in so I could get to my work meetings without dragging my luggage around. My particular room had very little hot water in the shower the 3 days I stayed, but that may have been a fluke and would not prevent me from staying again.

We stayed here for 4 nights. Rooms are motel style but very comfortable. Hotel has good amenities including pool, gym, business centre, laundry and free hot drinks, fruit and biscuits available in reception all day. Breakfast was good and included freshly made to order omelettes. Breakfast ended at 9.30 but would have preferred a 10am finish, although we were not rushed out. Location is good but about 25 mins walk from centre where Ryman etc are located. Felt safe walking. Hotel has car park or uber's are plentiful and cheap. Enjoyed our stay here.

We spent 2 nights in January 2022 and overall found it to be a good place to stay but were taken aback when we found out that we had to pay $15 per night for parking. We have never had to pay for parking anywhere at at any other hotel or motel that we have stayed at. In addition to paying for parking, the parking lot had the narrowest parking spaces that we have ever experienced making it difficult to get and out of your vehicle.

Other that the parking issue we were pleased with the stay. The motel is an older building but is generally speaking in good shape. Our room was somewhat cramped due to the size of the room itself and the fact that the furniture was a little large. The bathroom was nice sized and clean and the room was clean too, except for the carpeting needing a shampooing. The heating unit was sort of loud.

The staff was friendly and courteous. The Breakfast Room was great!!

The location is hard to beat and is within walking distance to the Country Music Hall Of Fame, the Honkie Tonks on Broadway and many other Nashville points of interest.

Yes, we would stay there again.

We were in town for the PTX concert and decided to stay at this place due to it being significantly less expensive than other places. The room was clean and smelled really good. Check in process was easy aside from an extra $15/day for parking. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had with an omelet bar. Location was great! About a 15 minute walk from lower broadway and Bridgestone arena. I would definitely stay here again!

We chose this hotel despite poor reviews because, honestly, how bad could it be? We are just laying our heads at night. And it was close to the strip so we could walk everywhere. (Didn't realize it would be 35 degrees but that's not the hotel's fault).
Upon check in we were told that housekeeping would not be coming in to the room during our stay to limit their contact. If we needed towels or anything just call and they would have it brought to us. Understandable.
While unpacking in our room we found an old package of crackers under the desk. So clearly they hadn't cleaned very well, but..still making excuses.
While we were packing up to leave and doing a "check to make sure we didn't leave anything " I saw a T-shirt on the desk chair and tossed it to my husband. He said "do you want me to put this in my suitcase?" "It's your Tshirt right?"
"Nope! It's not mine..."
So now we've had a package of crackers AND a dirty T-shirt that didn't belong to us.
When checking out brought it to the manager at the front desk. His answer? "I'll tell housekeeping"
Nothing to make up for the grossness of other peoples items in our room. Basically just an "oops, oh well"
Stay away. There are plenty of other places to stay.

I have never left a review on a hotel but this experience was terrible and falsely advertised. The location is good but it only goes so far when you come back to a very noisy room. It’s located by the freeway which won’t allow you to get rest along with outside entrances where you hear everything. The rooms are outdated and you eventually start second guessing the cleanliness of every part of the room until you can’t relax. You find out at check in to pay 15$ a night to park in a sketchy lot for a 1 star hotel claiming as a 3 star.

Stayed here for a week in January with my partner. The hotel was 1 of the cheapest fairly close to downtown nashville even though this was still a 25 minute walk away. There are a few bars and restaurants just across road which was good if you didn't fancy the walk to downtown.
The staff are friendly and helpful
The hotel is more motel than hotel with parking right outside the rooms⁸.
The rooms were ok if nothing special with a big bed tv and bathroom with shower but quiet small. Shame about some of the noise at night from other guests slamming doors and shouting outside the rooms and car doors banging

Breakfast was poor with only the basics coffee biscuits gravy eggs and sausage rounds I found this very disappointing
In all I enjoyed nashville alot but would I stay here again maybe not I would try and pay a bit more and get somewhere alot better. This is definitely a budget hotel you get what you pay for

This hotel was listed as a 3 star hotel so I had certain expectations as a seasoned traveler.
The only real positive here is the location which is probably why they get away with their lack of interest and customer service.
If you like to party and don’t care this is probably an ok place. If not I would pay a few bucks more and go somewhere else.
Front desk staff (I’m pretty sure they’re the owners or family of the owners) is unfriendly and doesn’t care if you stay or leave.
The rooms are stripped of anything you need. No hotel luggage rack, not one hook to hang anything on in the bathroom, no toilet lid. There was a safe but you can lift it up and take it with you so pretty useless.
It just feels run down and not inviting.
Not recommended!!

The last 2 times we've stayed here we fought drain flies coming out of the drain. The AC this time ran and cooled but the room was so humid our clothes felt damp the next morning. They've also jumped on board with charging $15 a night to park. We had a 5:00 am appointment the next morning and people sung and partied near the pool until 10:30 pm. The whole experience was terrible. We've stayed here over the years primarily because it's close to Vanderbilt hospital for our early morning appointments. Even though some renovations have been done it's not near enough. Based on this last 2 day stay we will never stay here again unless it is our last available option.

My husband and I were there last October and loved it! We thought it was perfect. It is no more than 15 minutes to downtown. There is a Whole Foods across the street with a great Pizza place and lots of prepared foods if you want to save money on some meals. The hotel has a pool and the rooms are fairly modern. The breakfast has an omelette station and all of the typical buffet items. The hotel is located right off the highway (literally). We stayed midweek so prices were half of what u are paying. That’s something to consider when going to Nashville. There is no cheaper hotel that is clean, safe, quiet and in waking distance to downtown. We will be back in October!!!
