Hotel was clean and comfortable, with great access to Vanderbilt University and other nearby points of interest. Room had a view of the Vanderbilt football stadium. The Starbucks in the lobby is a limited service facility, but the hotel restaurant is good, and the facilities were comfortable. We had about 12-15 people in a meeting, and for once in a...

Beautiful, modern hotel located directly across from Centennial Park and the Parthenon with a PF Chang's and Fleming's Steak House adjacent to the property. We hosted a meeting for 50 people, approximately half of which stayed in house with no complaints. The clean and comfortable Courtesy Shuttle, with a friendly accommodating driver, ferried 25 of us to and from dinner...

My room was facing the Vanderbilt football stadium, which I was lucky to see the band practice!! I am a former (middle school) band member, so this was a treat for me. The staff was helpful and very friendly. I have to say, that the best part of the hotel was their awesome shuttle service. The drivers were super friendly...

I attempt to stay with Marriott when traveling. This location is one of their better properties. The staff was fabulous at check-in, breakfast and valet. The location is good. It's not in the center of city, but not far out either. The room was great. My room was facing the Vanderbilt football stadium, so I watched a bit of football...

One would have hoped that with a location adjacent to Vanderbilt University the team at this hotel would have skills that could be put to use with hotel guests and that they would enjoy their work. Unfortunately, this does not seem to be the case: reception staff was cold, unfriendly and did not know their jobs. Even small things like...

Lazy service, rude staff and overpriced. For $200+/ night, one would expect better service and standards from a Marriott. However, upon entering our room, I found a dirty glass under the bed and lack of in-room amenities - are shower caps, slippers, and basic bathroom amenities too expensive these days? We had to literally beg the housekeeper to clean our...
