Hotel clean, housekeeping professional, accommodating and good. Breakfast typical, nothing great, nothing horrible. Area very nicely decorated and always clean.
Biggest complaint is front desk staff...daytime help...a couple friendly offering suggestions for great places to eat and areas of town to take rides to explore....More

Very nice hotel with perfect location next to Opryland and Grand Ole Opry. They even have free shuttle bus that will take you there. People working at this hotel are prime example of southern hospitality. Breakfast bar has many good options and everything tastes fresh....More

We stayed at this property for four nights while visiting Nashville. The hotel provides a shuttle to the airport as well as to Opryland Resort. An independent shuttle comes by the hotel to go downtown; cost is $10/pp round-trip. Very convenient if not driving. The...More
There is absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel. Its not a standout 5 star luxury resort - but that isn't what it describes itself nor what i booked. Neither is it a 1 star motel at the other end of the spectrum.

The hotel shuttle goes to the opryland hotel when you request it and they return when you call them. Very convenient. The Monarch shuttle is a little different. They come to the hotel at the top of the hour if you request the hotel staff to call them. They drop off and pick up downtown at the convention center which is a short walk to "honky tonk row". Short walk approximately 3 blocks. They pick up at the convention center at the half hour. There are multiple shuttles and ours only took holiday inn guests back and forth, but they also go to the Wyndham resort next door so when catching the return shuttle, make sure you're on the correct bus.
Our personal experience with the hotel shuttle was excellent. Very nice staff. We had planned to stay at the Opryland hotel for a couple of hours, but had to return in less than 45 minutes and our driver returned to pick us up within 10 minutes of our request. You will need a phone to contact them for a return ride.
Our experience with the downtown shuttle was fairly good. They only run until certain hours in the am but it was pretty late, like 2:30 am. Be sure to check if planning to be downtown late. We had one small glitch in our return ride. Too many guests were returning at the same time to the Wyndham resort and we had to exit our smaller van shuttle so they could accommodate all the Wyndham guests on two shuttles and we had to wait for a third one to pick us up. Added about 10 extra minutes to our wait. Also, please note there is not seating in front of the convention center so after walking downtown, you will be standing while you wait for your shuttle. My group of 8 had some sitting on the curb. The convenience and cost of the shuttle vs having to pay to park downtown and navigate the city streets was well worth the $10 fee.
