Detailed Reviews
For a chain hotel the AC Marriott in downtown Nashville is of good quality, especially for a chain hotel. Staying for business I found the hotel very accommodating in all aspects. The location, which is right in the heart of downtown Nashville, is a quick walk from area attractions and Broadway, the famous strip with bars and music venues. The hotel is immaculately clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel has little charm other than having a nice lounge on the 6th floor with a balcony and a very nice rooftop bar on the 21st floor offering some nice views of the downtown area. My room was incredibly spacious and comfortable, there was sofa and large screen TV in the room which I did not use, but was a nice touch, like the rest of the hotel was kept immaculately clean. I slept very well the one night I stayed. I enjoyed my stay at the AC Marriott, it may lack character and charm but you wont be disappointed.

Even in the midst of the pandemic, the AC Hotel in Nashville provides an excellent place to stay while in town on business. From Rob, the valet, who takes great care of my vehicle needs, to the friendly desk and room service staff, everyone here is very helpful and supportive. The location is just far away enough from Broadway that the tourists don't bother me and there are dozens of great restaurants within walking distance. And, because of my corporate rate, I think I've found my go-to hotel in middle Tennessee. Keep up the great work and thank you for providing me with an exemplary experience!

We chose to spend our fantastic Marriott Rewards Annual free lodging night here in Music City at the AC Hotel, and we not disappointed. Sleek restful surroundings, thoughtfully designed, in the heart of walkable options galore! But brrrrrrr, the cold helped us decide to stay warm and adore the city lights from behind the beautiful wrap-around-porch glass, and to enjoy the tapas, lingering about the fireplace, with John our devoted server. But breakfast, oh my! Nothing comes close to being in Europe than this! The gourmet coffee options and buffet were so well chosen, it is amazing that a la cart offerings, including steel cut oats, Spanish egg dishes and first class prosciutto are included at no extra cost, as their pleasure to their guests: Indeed: A first class and well curated bargain! But the best, the very best, are the servers who made our breakfast experience utterly delightful. Chef’s Hats Off!!!! Beautiful and lively Hannah, gorgeous MiKayla and charismatic Travien! You made my birthday breakfast to be simply charming charming and memorable.
Tr’es bon!

I recently booked this hotel for a three night stay in Nashville based on all the positive reviews I read. What I experienced was definitely below my expectations unfortunately. We stayed on the 16th floor next to the elevator, which was not an issue the room was quiet to outside noise. However the AC in the room when it was running ran so loud it made it difficult to fall asleep. We set it to 70 and it constantly ran throughout the night. The bedding was not fresh and in both of our queen sized beds there were actual divots in the mattresses, like when someone sleeps in the same spot for years. The hardwood floor was dirty and you had to wear socks or flip-flops otherwise your feet would be black in minutes. Also on the hotels app it said they offered an airport shuttle for $25 a person, and when we asked about it we were told that there was no shuttle.
I will say the shower was a pleasant surprise, decent water pressure. And every single hotel employee that we encountered was wonderful!
I just expected a slightly better (and cleaner) experience for something that cost over $900.

I’m extremely disappointed with my stay at the AC Marriott in Nashville. The hotel itself is nice but outside of that it’s the only positive thing I have to say. My 3 guests and I were moved two times due to issues with our rooms. We literally slept in 3 different rooms the entire trip. There were ants crawling around from behind and on top of the desk in one of the rooms (1112). The AC unit was broken in the second room (1607). We called down to the front desk to request someone come check out the room and also asked to move. Someone from maintenance was sent to spray the room but the thought of more ants returning wasn’t quite appealing to stay there. Customer service to switch rooms the first time was horrible. We were given the run around to change rooms and a representative, Cody, flat out lied to me and was disrespectful. He told me there weren’t any double queen rooms available but he can place us in a king room with a pull out bed but which wasn’t comparable. I asked him what other accommodations could be given and he had the audacity to tell me that I was already there at a discounted rate so he couldn’t do anything else. It was a discounted military rate that I know the hotel has contracted with the government. That was disrespectful to say to someone who spent years serving this country, let alone a Marriott rewards member. I didn’t ask for anything free, simply to be moved to the same type of room I already had. After asking to speak to the manger, he mysteriously returned with a double queen room open. We move into the room and noticed it was slightly warm but didn’t make a big deal at first. The next day it was noticeably warmer, so we adjusted the thermostat down to 64 degrees but that didn’t help. I called to have someone from maintenance come check on the AC unit. He checked the unit with an infrared thermometer and said the temp was 85 degrees. He also pulled the filter, which he said looked like it hadn’t been changed in a very long time. So he replaced it and cleaned out the unit. Hours past and it was still hot. I had to call the front desk AGAIN. We were then switched to room 1712 at 1:00 AM. Upon checkout, Brady extended a 20% discount from the bill. I’m appreciative of the final outcome but beyond disappointed that my stay at this hotel will be memorable for all the wrong reasons.

AC has excellent customer service. Arrivals and check ins are easy with the friendly, efficient and helpful valet and front desk. Valet was able to arrange transportation for us with Gimmy of First Music City Transportation Co. numerous times. He was friendly, professional and reliable. He drove a newer, clean black Surburban so all can be comfortable.
The hotel is modern with up to date amenities that include a beautiful pool area, fitness center and rooftop bar. Upon check in, we were told that there was a breakfast buffet for $12.99@, but there was not. There was coffee set up though. The Diner is in walking distance and Starbucks is on the corner across the street. The hotel is conveniently located to many attractions. Housekeeping will bring you toiletries and towels and will empty your garbage upon request.
Regular daily housekeeping needs to be reinstated at this hotel and all hotels. If safety protocols are in place, there is no reason not to have this service. The lack of service brings the value of this hotel down.

We stayed at the AC in Nashville for one night with our two kids. The hotel is new and clean and smells nice. At checkin the staff was very friendly.
Our room wasn’t very big but had a nice view so it was ok. Our kids LOVED the outdoor pool as it’s super heated and felt like a hot tub to them even on a chilly day.
The reason this hotel only gets three stars is that there are only two elevators to get up to the rooms and these are overcrowded and stop all the time so getting to the room and back down to the lobby gets very annoying! There is also no way of distancing from other people. At one point I was in the elevator with 11 other people!
The hotel advertises their rooftop bar but when we went up there to grab a drink, the bar was closed - on a FRIDAY night! The bar in the main lobby is small with few seating areas and only one person working behind the bar. So that was disappointing.
The breakfast comes in a box. We came downstairs for breakfast at 9:20 and were told that breakfast had ended at 9am! I said to the front desk staff that 9am is very early and that they should let guests know at check-in that breakfast ends so early. All I got in response was shrugs. We have gold status at Marriott and tend to be very loyal so this left us feeling very disappointed. We will be back in Nashville in a few weeks and will be staying somewhere different.

Nice hotel great location and customer service excellent. Biggest thing for me that Marriott needs to realize is if you’re making me pay more than you did pre pandemic I’m going to need cleaning service every day. I get people can’t hire and there’s no workers but then lower your prices per night. If you’re not paying employees then the prices should be cheaper. Other than that the location of this hotel was perfect. Room was large and hotel was nicely kept. Pool was nice and hotel front desk was lovely. Recommend if you want to be close to Broadway and other things to do.

When we first arrived at the hotel the doors were locked and we could not get inside. I called the front desk to ask how to get in. I was told the only way to get inside is with a key card. Which I didn’t have since I just arrived. I waited for other guests who opened the door and let me in.
Also The front door is permanently locked and the only way in and out of the Hotel is though the parking garage.
We stayed at the hotel for 4 days. Not once in those 4 days did anyone make the bed, replace the towels, empty the garbage. I understand that I am an adult and can do those things for myself but if I am paying $250 a night I would like basic room services.
One night while walking back to the hotel. One of the valets stopped me took my key card out of my hand as I was about to swipe it to open the door and said he needed verify I was staying at the hotel.
This hotel has been such a bad experience i am very disappointed with Marriott

There are 3 hotels in this building all owned by the same company. The AC is the higher end one but the rooms are smaller and you pay $15 for the breakfast bar while the other guests pay $0. Yes, you read that correctly. The people right beside you in line, that pay less for their room (typically) get their breakfast for free while you will pay $30 plus tax for a couple.
