We stayed one night at Yarra Glen B&B. Lovely cosy rooms with all facilties you could need. The only problem was the very thin walls and being able to hear everything going on in the next room! However the bed was so comfy that it was still easy to sleep! Breakfast was great & very relaxed as it is in the room & you sort it yourself.

We picked this B&B on the basis of previous excellent reviews and I'll happily add to them. We arrived earlier than the check-in stated, but were welcomed by the owner who was happy to give us the keys. He also gave us a map of the area and spent some time pointing out some of the local attractions, drives, bars and restaurants (which we followed up, and were worth it). The room was comfortable and nicely decorated and the bathroom was a good size. The breakfast is actually already provided in your room. There's a fridge with fresh milk, orange juice and yoghurt, and a basket with breads, crumpets, cereals and jams etc. The toaster, plates and cutlery is all provided in the room. There's also a nice decking area with a table and chairs where you can sit and enjoy your breakfast or a drink.
The B&B is only a short (10-15 min) walk into town with its selection of bars and restaurants.
This is a great base for exploring the Yarra Valley wine region and we'd happily stay here again.

We stayed at the Yarra Glen B & B for three nights early in November while in Melbourne for my niece's wedding.
The rooms are on the smallish size and the layout could be improved, the bathroom is also a bit dated, but the bed was comfortable and I appreciated the electric blanket!
This is not a B&B in the true sense, as breakfast is provided for you in your room - this can be a good thing if you want to sleep in and not have to be up at a certain time for a cooked breakfast.
Our bed was not made up for us during our visit and this is not what I have experienced during stays at other B&B's. This is probably a reflection of the hosts rather casual attitiude, but he is a very friendly chap.
The house is in a great setting with lovely views over the nearby hills and a short walk into Yarra Glen, but it could really benefit from a bit of a sprice up.

Nice and clean, polite hosts, little surprised at the breakfast, packets of mass produced cereal full of sugar, and bread in used resealable zip bags. Was expecting perhaps a cooked breakfast. Or something a little more healthy. Good location. Probably wouldn’t stay again.

This little gem is an affordable option to stay and explore the lovely Yarra Valley region. The room is very clean and comfortable, with a substantial breakfast included. All amenities are provided, such as kettle, toaster, iron and board, medium sized fridge, electric blanket, good aircond/heating and ceiling fan. Every comfort is accounted for. I stayed two nights with my adult daughter and we enjoyed some fabulous country walks, local restaurants and wineries. My daughter and I commented numerous times on the friendliness of the Yarra Glen locals. People say hello when you are out walking and seem genuinely happy to live in such a gorgeous town. Maybe it is the local produce? These include excellent wines, chocolate, cheese and meats. These things certainly made us smile too! Good pubs and restaurants abound in the area, and Yarra Glen is not so far from Melbourne that you can still get a good coffee.

Went up for a weekend away, rooms are clean and comfortable, the shared balcony is lovely to sit out on and unwind for the afternoon. The property is about a 10min walk into Yarra Glen, which is great, you're located far enough to feel as though you're on your own, but close enough to everything you need. Perfect little retreat!!

As a lone traveller, I stayed in this lovely, modest little BnB for two nights over the first weekend of Spring. I paid the room only rate and cannot comment on food here, but the accommodation was sweet and clean, and I really enjoyed the tranquility of sitting on the deck among the green paddocks and hearing the birds.

We attended a wedding on a Saturday night, and it seems the norm to stay in a B&B in Yarra Glen instead of driving back to Melbourne late at night. This B&B is one of the cheaper ones and you do get what you pay for. There are 3 separate double sized rooms each with a small en-suite attached as an extension to the main residence and accessible by an external balcony. The only windows for 2 of the rooms are the glass sliding doors to the balcony, so not much privacy if you want to let in natural light. It's off the main road and has beautiful gardens so quite a nice setting. Rooms are clean and modern.
The breakfast is a very basic 'continental' which is already in your room at check-in. Slices of bread in zip-lock bags, mini packets of jam and peanut butter, small boxes of cereal, small tubs of yoghurt, fresh milk and orange juice in plastic jugs, tea bags and instant coffee. Does the trick as there is not much in Yarra Glen, but there is a new Chocolate Factory nearby and heaps of Wineries that you could have breakfast and coffee at.
Note we asked for early check-in so we could get ready for the wedding and was advised it would cost $30 extra. We ended up checking in between the ceremony and reception. The owner was very friendly.

We stayed one night. The price was very cheap, while the rooms were very clean, with warm atmosphere! Nice location where you can drive short distance to anywhere. There are shops within 5 mins walk from the b&b as well. Would definitely recommend it for couples and definitely will visit again!!!!!
