Yackandandah is a quant village nestled in the foothills of Stanley State Forest and steeped in a legacy of gold. It is one of Australia's prettiest villages in high country Victoria. This charming hotel, set amongst original bluestone gutters and elaborate façades built during the nineteenth century gold rush offers 7 hotel rooms with single, double and family guest accommodation available. Accommodation offers affordable comfortable rooms with heating / air conditioning, shared separate female and male bathrooms and plenty of parking. The hotel known as the ‘bottom pub’ also offers a main bar, dining room, large sunny beer garden and tables out front - there’s no better place in this beautiful country, for some alfresco dining. Spend your days or nights choosing from the Yackandandah Hotel Restaurant homestyle pub menu and kick back with some tasty treats with a view of the Main Street. The Yackandandah hotel is an excellent choice for tourists. There is plenty to see and do ranging from boutique shopping to mountain bike riding to swimming in our local swimming holes and more. Fun for individuals, couples and families. Come and enjoy your stay in Yackandandah!

Got out of Melbourne (finally) and decided to stay in a local Pub. This is a great country Pub. We enjoyed Peter and team's hospitality, ate dinner at the restaurant and stayed in one of the newly refurbished rooms upstairs. Breakfast was the best. If you are after a quiet night, this is not the place to go if the footy team wins that day and is in the bar; but otherwise it was warm, friendly and a great one-night stay.

When having a short break in Yackandandah recently we did find that not much is open until Wednesday, when it all begins to happen. We decided to visit the Yackandandah Hotel for dinner and were welcomed warmly before choosing to sit outside as it was a lovely, warm evening. My husband ordered the salmon, which he said was the best he had ever had. A great venue for an evening meal or a quiet drink.

Friendly safe atmosphere where the publican Mick goes out of his way to ensure you’re feeling welcome. Has to be one of the best salmon I’ve had. Publican Mick is legendary at pool. If you’re lucky, you may even get to challenge him like I did. Yes I lost

We had dinner tonight at the Yackandandah Hotel, Mick & the team were most accommodating, Mick introduced himself, asked all of our names & shook our hands, they are donating $2 per Parmer for Farmers via Rural aid. 56 on the Talley board with 3 more added after this photo was taken. Good on you Mick, Sandra & team. Find your way to the Yack Hotel (AKA Bottom Pub) & get a bloody good Parma. We will be back!!

We booked a room here for a boys road trip. Old style pub accomodation that was clean and comfortable. Good comfortable beds. Toilet and shower facilities across the hall - but very clean. Reasonably priced. Friendly reception. Bar looked nice. We didn't eat there but it has reputation for being good, wholesome pub-grub.
