Jessie's Creek Cottage is centrally located in Whitfield and brilliant as a luxury base from which to explore the famous King Valley region. Nearby wineries include Pizzini Wines, Dal Zotto Estate Wines, Politini Wines and Chrismont. You can walk from the cottage to the Mountain View Hotel and La Tratoria Restaurant (Dal Zotto) and it's just a short drive or cycle to Cheshunt for a wood-fired pizza at The Oven or a generous takeaway from the Cheshunt General Store. The Mount Hotham, Dinner Plain, Mount Buller, Mount Buffalo and Falls Creek snow fields are all within a few hours' drive, and the High Country towns and villages of Milawa, Beechworth, Bright, Mansfield, Yackandandah and Myrtleford are well worth exploring on a day out. Situated opposite the Mountain View Hotel in Whitfield it's walking distance or a short drive to great restaurants and wineries. The open plan living/dining is spacious, welcoming and well-equipped, with room for 6 adults to relax in comfort. Reverse cycle heating/cooling and ceiling fans ensure you stay comfortable, and a flat screen TV with DVD player is provided. If you'd rather switch off the devices and go off grid, the cosy couches are ideal for curling up with one of our books or magazines. The large dining table seats 6 adults and is adjacent to the kitchen. With three bedrooms the cottage can sleep 6 adults or a large family. There are two double bedrooms (2x queen beds) and one twin bedroom (2x single beds). One double bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, and all bedrooms have side tables and wardrobes for your clothes. Sleeping comfort is guaranteed with quality mattresses and pillows and warm, luxury, freshly-laundered bedding. The bedrooms have ceiling fans for extra comfort during the warmer months. If you're a cold sleeper then in winter the electric blankets will keep you warm, or you might want to use one of the extra blankets we provide in each room. The fully-equipped kitchen is a cook's delight, with the full complement of cutlery, crockery, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, cheese boards and salad bowls to ensure you can cook up a feast if you've decided to self-cater. Our bathrooms include freshly-laundered fluffy towels and the ensuite bathroom has a shower, toilet and handbasin, while the main bathroom features a deep bathtub, large shower, toilet and handbasin. Each bathroom has ceiling extractor fans. The cottage was thoughtfully designed to be as accessible as possible. The hallway and door openings are wheelchair-friendly and the front and rear gardens are wheelchair accessible in/out of the house with no steps. Picture yourself relaxing in the shade on the verandah, glass of wine in hand, Weber Q barbecue sizzling away after a day's touring and exploring. The flat, fenced rear lawn is perfect for children and has a northerly aspect, so it catches the winter sun very well. It's a lovely place to begin your day with a coffee, and equally delightful at the end of the day.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and Jessie's Creek Cottage had everything that we needed to make our stay a memorable one. It has a huge open planned Kitchen and Living area, decent sized Queen sized rooms and a deep bath if you want to unwind with a great glass of local Prosecco. It's over the road from the pub and a short walk to a lovely cafe and Dal Zotto Winery. It's also a short drive to some other great wineries in the area as well. A place to consider for sure.

Pulled into Pizzini Wines for a tasting and me tioned that we had nowhere to stay. Carla to the rescue with Jessie's Cottage. Fabulous 3 brm cottage but just for 2 of us tonight. What a gem. So comfortable and equipped with everything you need. So well appointed with all the things you need. Very comfortable, very clean and across the road from a fantastic pub. What else do you need?

Such a pleasure to meet you that day at Pizzini Cellar! It was my pleasure to host you and thank you for dropping in during this rather stressful time of fires. Fortunately for us the threat is over now for the recovery. Everything is open for business and waiting for your return. Travel safe and hope to see you again soon.

We stayed here so we could do a bike tour of the wineries. Perfect, within walking distance to Dal Zotto to collect our bikes and in the evening just across the road to the Mountain View Hotel for dinner!
Beautifully maintained with everything you need and a lovely breakfast basket for a relaxing start to the next day.
Carla is a lovely host...relaxed and accommodating to our check in and check out requirements.
We will definitely be back to this beautiful part of the world and this great little (well quite big actually) cottage!

This was a delightful surprise. I was at ease and absolutely delighted upon arriving to find this gem. Beautifully presented, light, bright, spacious and impeccably clean. Within walking distance of anything and everything you could possibly ask for. The massage - fantastic! Thank you Carla.

We stayed in Jessie's Cottage at the weekend. Fabulous welcome with the heating on and a basket of local breakfast produce for the morning - num! The bedrooms are very comfy, the kitchen is very spacious and having a bath is a must do!

The cottage is also in a fab location in Whitfield - literally only a couple of hundred meters from wineries and the pub but also very close to Powers look out, William Hovel Lake and Paradise falls.

We would recommend staying.

A lovely 3 bedroom cottage with lovely new kitchen and living area. Lots of space for the 4 of us for 4 nights. Easy walk to pub, cafe and 2 local wineries. The weather was cold and the heating good and quick but an open fire or gas log fire would have been lovely to watch. Breakfast hamper was very good but needed topping up after 2 days. We enjoyed our stay and will be very happy to go back.

I spent a week at Jessie's Creek Cottage from 21/12/2014 to 28/12/2014. It was absolutely wonderful. Carla (the owner) could not do enough to ensure the stay was the best it could be. Jessie's Creek is a modern 3 bedroom cottage with a very large kitchen, lounge and dining room. It has everything you will need for a comfortable stay, whether it be a weekend or a week (there is also a Nespresso Machine). The cottage was cool to come home to, even on the hottest days. Overall a really superb week in Whitfield.

Jessie's Creek Cottage did make us feel like home away from home. Stayed here for 3 nights and we wish we could stay longer. Everything about this cottage is what you would expect and more. It looks relatively new and modern. This is the place that we could recommend as well as the place to come back to. We didn’t have a chance to meet Carla personally but over the phone contact was sufficient to finalize all arrangements. Maybe next time we will meet the hostess…

Great location for the Pizzini cooking class and the mountain view hotel. There were 6 of us and the space was good. The accommodation included all you would need for breakfast eggs bread and yogurt. The only thing missing was loose leaf tea.
