Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed here overnight when visiting family in Warragul. Just can't recommend it enough. The hosts are wonderful, the location is a quiet oasis and we immediately felt at home. The room was spotless, bed super comfortable and facilities perfect for our needs. This is what all B&B's should be like.

We have stayed several times in the winter months. There are two log cabins with Coonara wood heater in each which keep you very cosy. There is plenty of cut wood and firelighters to get the the fire roaring. Both times we have gone with another couple so have hired both cabins. There is a one big room with double bed, couches and a kitchen area and a separate bathroom. The cabins are very comfortable. There is also a TV and DVD player with an assortment of movies. Cliff made sure we got the fire going. Looking outside our window we can see some cows, goats and sheep which look very well fed. Great place to stay to tour around the Warragul area.

We stayed here during the Easter long weekend doing day walks around the warragul area, Cliff and his family were very friendly and welcoming, and we were greeted with home made chocolate biscuits in our room. The cottages are large and the Ensuite is huge, in the ensuite there is a claw footed bath, shower, toilet and basin. The cottage has a TV with a DVD player a wood fire place which came in handy. There is also a kitchen with cooking implements. The cottages are on a farm with friendly sheep and goats. Warragul is only a 5 to 10 minute drive to the shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay as it was great to stay away and not be in a large hotel complex. Highly recommended :-) The cottages are on a farm with friendly sheep and goats.

A little oasis of calm just out of Warragul. The owner Cliff was very friendly and showed great attention to detail in the cute little cottages. They provided tea, coffee, milk, juice, raisin bread, cereal, and a generous slice of home made cake. I would definitely stay here again and can happily recommend it to others

Our family had a wonderful stay in both the cottages. Cliff was a down to earth, friendly host who made sure we had scones and cake for tea during our stay. The bathroom was huge but very cold during our stay, perhaps it was just us coming from hot Singapore. He set up the trampoline, and let the kids feed the animals on his farm. The kids even got close to his two lovely pet pigs. Tasted fresh broccoli right from the vegetable patch. Just educational for city kids. Lots of fresh air in Warragul. Definitely on our return wish list!

These hospitable cottages are spacious, thoughtfully designed and generously furbished with quality ware and those extra touches like home made jam and a welcoming snack. Cosy wood heater and farm views create isolation and peace. A perfect stopover or base in an attractive town.( Eat at Sorelles for classy Italian).

Bloomfield Cottages are situated in the countryside surrounding Warrigal. The timber cottages themselves are situated in a small acreage of farm land. It's a peaceful spot overlooking grazing sheep and rolling green hills. The self contained cottages are great value, really cozy and have everything you need for a weekend stay (including kitchen, wood burning stove, TV, etc.). It made a nice change, and is one of the greenest places we've been in Victoria.
