Our host was friendly and welcoming. Room could use an update, but it was clean, hot water in the shower worked well, beds were comfy and the large tv was easy to use. At this price point, it was everything I needed for an overnight stay.

The attendant was great, went above and beyond for me, fetched me some ice from the supermarket for an injury. (I couldn't walk, tore my calf). Room, well the single bed had something smeared into the sheets, I'd hate to guess what it was but it was brown . I hope it was chocolate.. nose was a problem, the tin roof makes so much noise, we had difficulties sleeping. Otherwise, it was a typical 3 star experience,

Booked through Hotels.com. Very good service to get a call from the host to clarify if three adults meant three single beds or queen plus single.
We were in Unit 6 which was halfway down. You could hear the traffic (tyres on wet road) - to put it in perspective the rain was much louder. When you don’t use the glaring ceiling central light but use the side lights the room was not charmless.
$5.50 for simple breakfast in the breakfast room - a few cereals, breads for toasting with condiments, and kettle for tea and coffee. The rooms had a toaster and mini bar fridge so you can easily do self catering.
Very friendly good service. Shame a previous guest left some empty cans in one of the draws which hadn’t been found.

I needed a venue for a regional work meeting over two days, and staying overnight.

The manager of the Edinburgh Motor Inn was super helpful, the meeting room had great light, big windows, tea and coffee throughout both days, a whiteboard, and a heater. The cost was really reasonable too.

My colleague and I had a basic room each, which was large, very clean, could park right out the front of the room, and the bed was comfortable. The room had a split system heater.

Overall, a great experience and many thanks to the manager who made everything so easy and streamlined.

Unfortunately I have to write a review for this motel, due mainly to the misinformation on this property’s website. I don’t usually write bad reviews, but I don’t want anyone else mislead when booking this motel.

The photos on the site make the motel look clean and tidy, unfortunately this was not our experience, I am not sure how they received a 4 star rating.

On a positive, I will say Heather at reception was very nice and our interaction with her very friendly. The bathroom was clean and there was a large TV and King size bed. Outside of this the room was unclean. The front door seals were poor/ non existent allowing the smoke from the several smokers out side to penetrate the room, the door it self appeared to have been broken and patched up, needing a paint and repair. The curtains had come off the track and didn’t close properly. There was a layer of dust on the head board, and cup and ? stains on the couch, bedside tables and bench. The fridge exterior was disgusting .

I am sorry but this is not a four star motel, and not worth the fee charged. It is hard enough when travelling to feel confident that what is sold on the website will truely represent what you get. It’s not good enough, and in this instant we had to pay before arrival, leaving us with no where to go to get a refund!! Be honest people, otherwise you will risk these reviews..and get a good cleaner!!

The room was spotless and roomy, bed comfortable and cosy, air conditioner and T.V. easy to operate and the position in the town was easy to find.Situated a short walk from a supermarket and bakery. Also a short walk to a hotel which served very nice meals. The owner was easy to find and was always able to give us advise we had any enquiries, The site of the motel in on a main road but the rooms seemed to be well sound proofed as we had an undisturbed sleep even on a Saturday night. We felt very safe and comfortable at all times.

I stayed in the Toorak Room. Very spacious/quiet. The room, Toilet & bathroom was spotless. Good Internet speed. Superb Location. 2 minutes walk to Supermarkets, Restaurants /Cafes. Hot Breakfast was delicious. ( I covered my sales visits in the Gippsland region and stayed three nights; they gave me a corporate rate. I already reserved the same room at Edinburgh Motor Inn again in August 2024 for my next sales trip. ( DAN - Sydney )

Not recommended.
The self promotion on the website and on the signs at the entrance, are definitely misleading to the extent that it appears deliberate.
It says it has Foxtel, but they don’t; it says there is a minibar, and on the bench in the room it gives the minibar prices! but the fridge itself is completely empty (photos attached). Continental breakfast is advertised but when I asked about getting it, I was told ‘we only do rooms’.
Otherwise the room smelled bad, had broken curtains and super thin walls so you get all your neighbours conversation etc.
on the plus side the bed was comfortable and the shower was hot.
But definite false advertising, maybe in the past it was award winning but not anymore.

Stopped in late as was the only accommodation available in the area. Blinds don't close properly and there was literally no hot water, which was irritating after a full day of work. There was a constant beeping all night- like someone had left the washing machine on and the cycle finished. Benches and bedside tables needed to be wiped as they were dirty.
