In the middle of absolutely nowhere, we found this outstanding hotel. It's a little bit of the big city dropped into the middle of farm country. We were astounded at the inside, as you enter you are greeted by large open spaces, couches facing a fireplace with a roaring open fire and to the side, a smaller dining area with... More

Our group had a beautiful lunch in the outdoor alfresco area over looking at the river. Very peaceful surroundings and a great venue for a hot day or rainy weather. The servings were generous and arrived quite quickly. Highly recommend the calamari.

Was recommended by a friend and so glad we stopped. We had lunch and dinner and couldn't fault anything, service was great and the food superb. Nice outdoor area and covered alfresco dining area with great heating.

Four friends dined for lunch today. Good choices, friendly service, all meals enjoyed. We enjoyed the James Squire cider on tap. Coffee with dessert options. Best stop in town (gluten free options and log fire added to the appeal). Hotel has been nicely renovated.

We took a family group for dinner (ranging in age from elderly grandmother through to young children) and had a really pleasant meal. Well priced, with a good range of food including vegetarian and gluten-free. I found the serving sizes a little small but I guess that was compensated for by the prices which were surprisingly low. The place was... More

A lovely escape from a cold winters day by the fire with great coffee served hot. We also enjoyed a nice lunch, the menu offered a great variety and not your typical pub fare. I enjoyed the pork steak, cooked perfectly, moist served with the pear and fig. Well worth a visit.

The hotel is impeccable with a fabulous Reno and great staff. My steak, medium rare was spot on. If your in the beal this is the place to go. Well done to Sally and Kevin. 😃 Here are two pubs still running in town but if you want a bit of style the Creek is the place to go .

We called in to have lunch. The hotel has both indoor as well as outdoor eating areas. Service was friendly and the food was good. Would recommend this place. We had the fish, porterhouse steak, spaghetti bolognaise and we were all happy.

Older style hotel that presented well - has been completely revamped for the modern era. Has a great cosy atmosphere including open fires for the winter months. Enjoyed a delicious well cooked evening meal ( very large portions served) - reasonably priced & quick service re delivering meal. Staff polite & very helpful. Only negative which is minor is that...
