Toora is a lovely little place. The park is well set out...being able to drive straight through onto the en-suite caravan site was easy. Staff were polite, however felt like a transaction..I think it could be improved with more interaction with recommendations on what to do in the area or explain the facilities etc.

Grounds well maintained although we were a little concerned being under huge trees as it was extremely windy. Lots of branches and leaves fell on us constantly. The sites could be improved with concrete pads rather than a mixture of grass and gravel. Recommend bringing a tarp to put under the awning as it would be quite uncomfortable sitting on gravel and hard to drive pegs into.

En-suite was clean with shower mat provided. BBQ area next to tennis court has seating. Bins for rubbish close by.

Main Street within walking distance had a Foodworks and pub. Foster is a short drive away with options for eating out also. Agnes Falls a short drive away.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that we did not give you enough recommendations. We have plenty of information in our office and are very willing to help. We cannot concrete all our sites as some customers like to bring tents however if you prefer a concrete site it is always good to ask as we do have quite a few. The gravel sites are needed due to our rainfall as we need to use the sites all year round. It is always recommended to bring a mat for your awning as even our grass sites can get muddy at times.

We recently stayed in a two bedroom cabin. The facilities at the park (ie: heated indoor pool and spa, playground, jumping pillow, games room, camp kitchen etc) are fantastic and make for a very enjoyable stay, particularly for families with young children. The park is located near the town, so an easy walk to the supermarket, chemist and local pub which puts on a great meal. It is an easy 1 hour drive to Wilsons Prom and the park itself is very clean and well maintained. However, next time we would definitely take our van and stay on one of the en-suite sites. The cabin we stayed in (whilst clean) was extremely small, dated and very basic and cost $170 per night. The bunk room in particular fitted only the bunks and a small side cupboard and was quite claustrophobic. Other than this, we would highly recommend this park.

Stunning park. Close to town and beautifully set up for kids. Very clean facilities. Office staff were very pleasant. A lot of things closed due to Covid. My caravan ensuite site was reasonably dry even though it rained for 2 days. Will definitely return.

My husband and I chose to use Toora as our base for cycling the Great Southern Rail Trail. We booked for 4 nights, but stayed for 5 as we found so many things to do and see in the local area, and also because it was so pleasant staying at Toora Tourist Park.
The park is very well set out with excellent, very clean and modern facilities. We were very happy with our ensuite powered site; we could drive our van straight through so no reversing required; the gardens were well maintained; the ensuite was clean, big enough and with shower mat supplied; the camp kitchen was excellent, as were the entertainment and TV rooms.
There is a lot to entertain families, with a tennis court, basketball rings, jumping pillow, putt putt golf, and an indoor heated pool. The main street is a short walk away, with easy access to the Rail Trail. There is also a lovely cafe directly across the road.
The only negative is the 1st night we could hear the Toora Wind Farm turbines as background noise, however, we did not hear them on the other nights - I guess it depends on the strength/direction of the wind?? Despite this, we would certainly stay here again if we revisit the area.

We stayed in a cabin it was well appointed the bathroom was small however there was only 2 of us so it wasn't a problem. We were able to see some of the great spots in Sth Gippsland and visit a few attractions. Unfortunately due to Covid when we went some eateries were not open as we had hoped to spend money to help the area still we enjoyed what we did. The park looks fantastic for families and we have recommended it to our family that has children. The Manager was helpful limited contact due to Covid .

The park is amazingly clean and well kept. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed for 2 nights in an ensuite site the bathroom was very clean where there was soap and bath mat supplied. We have stayed here quite a few times now and it just keeps getting better. The location is great you can walk down the street to shops and hotel. It is also very close to the Great Southern Rail Trail. The BBQ areas are well maintained and clean. Keep up the good work in these tough times. See you next time.

After the disaster of a kitchen and roof fire earlier in the year we had the pleasure of being allocated temporary accommodation at the Toora Tourist Park by our Insurance, and were very comfortable in the two bedroom cabin (Cabin 22) for a total of almost 6 weeks, whilst repair work was undertaken.
It was a stressful time for us but we found the large lounge and dining area, the cosy kitchen and bathroom, and two bedrooms, ideal for our enforced stay away from home. The facilities located throughout the Park are marvellous, with much to offer families.
As we normally live locally we know what wonderful delights await visitors who come here for a holiday break. Plenty of space for caravans and motohomes, and sites with adjoining ensuites.
The staff were very caring of our needs, and we cannot recommend the Toora Tourist Park more highly.

This small caravan park has all you need and more. We had an ennsuite site, but could have chosen any type. Also a range of on site canbins. Activities for kids, neatly presented, easy drive through sites and all well located near to Wilson's Prom and other great tourist attractions in South Gippsland. Highly recommended

What a hidden gem in Toora, this park has so many great facilities packed into it. Lots of things for the kids to do, park is not huge so most of the time you can see them from your site. Park is neat & immaculately maintained, I’ve never seen amenities so clean ! We had 2 days of torrential rain during our stay & the site drained well, no water or muddy mess. Wilson’s prom not too far away to explore the beautiful coastline or if bike riding is your thing close to the great southern rail trail. Would highly recommend this park !

We stayed in January towards the end of the school holidays with a group of family members. Sue from the office looked after us well upon arrival even giving us a discount or refund if we had previously paid in full as the rates had decreased! I felt like I was being paid to go on holidays! Our cabin room was clean and comfortable and exactly what we needed. The park facilities are fantastic especially for kids of all ages. They were entertained the entire time with the mini golf, jumping pillow, trampoline, games room, pool and playgrounds. It was so relaxing as a parent. We had the most amazing time and hope to be back soon

Hello and thank you for your question. Our park Toora Tourist Park does not have mineral baths and there are none in the area however we do have an indoor heated pool and spa which is open all year round. Our park is ideally suited to explore Wilsons Promontory Natonal Park and all of South Gippsland beaches, waterfalls and natural attractions.
