Our room for 2 nights was "on the hill" overlooking Sorrento and part of the bay, too many trees in the way of the view for my liking! School holidays so we were lucky to get any water view. The balcony made best use of the view but the sofa was not well placed to appreciate the scenery from inside....

Quaint Mornington Peninsula Town with a beautiful seafront. Very busy during the Summer and quite busy always during the year. There are many activities around town including a relaxing Lunch or Dinner at the Sorrento Hotel, which is very close to the foreshore. There is a hourly Ferry service to Queenscliff which is super popular. Down at the Jetty you...

I was given a couple of nights at the Hotel Sorrento as a birthday gift and having researched the venue, was really looking forward to staying there. The room we stayed in overlooked the bay which was simply a fantastic view - could not ask for better. The room had a bed that was advertised as king size but it...

Amid a warm and busy atmosphere our party of four enjoyed all enjoyed our meals which consisted of rustic chip & dips for entree's and lamb shanks, chicken schnitzel, lamb backstrap salad & crispy pork belly. It was a wonderful lunch with great views out on to the bay. Will certainly be back.

We went to this hotel for a meal on a long weekend, being a long weekend means this hotel is extremely busy so if you plan to do the same you need to book or you won't get in. For the evening meal they do two seating's so if you want to sit and stay for a while you will...

Hi Tony, Were disappointed that you had that experience with us, the bar staff must have had confusion with what time we stop serving the discounted meals. We proudly serve "mate rates" meals in the main bar monday- friday 12-3pm. See you again soon. Thanks

We dined here for lunch as a 4 on a cool Sunday. We chose the Bar,( the open fires were pumping), so we could watch the footy and was happy that the restaurant menu was available. Although the Coronas were not icy cold, we ordered wine and that was nice. For lunch i had the eye fillet for 2 with...

A bit high in price for a standard room, king sized bed and included breakfast lifted the acceptability of the accomodation, but the views, accross the lower end of Port Phillip Bay are spectacular and the location, close to the main strip of Sorrento, which boasts excellent eateries and boutiques, make up the rest. Well worth a visit,

How sad that a Peninsula institution has deteriorated as it has... (And why tamper with such a successful formula ??). Underwhelming food. Vastly over-priced wine. Asked to vacate our table after just 90 minutes as they 'do two sittings' (would have been polite to tell us first...) A sticky table. Inappropriate loud music. All very sad
