We had a two night stay for a wedding in Sorrento. The room was spacious with a lot of little extras like plates, bowls and cutlery, dishwashing liquid and tea towel and of course the usual tea/coffee/milk. The bathroom was big with toiletries included. There was also a big TV. Everything was clean and although it is on Melbourne Road it was quiet due to the concrete walls. Would definitely stay again - the owner/proprietor was very accommodating and friendly.

We spent 2 nights in this motel. A warm welcome greeted us on arrival, and the staff were friendly throughout our stay. The room was very clean, and bed very comfortable. The continental breakfast was fresh and delivered at requested time each morning. Parking at the front door. Quiet area and good location. Will definately stay again

I spent a night of the Labour Day long weekend at the Sorrento Beach Motel due to an early morning swim with the dolphins experience. It’s owned by what looks to be a husband-wife couple with a young family. I dealt with Adrian exclusively (although I saw his wife around and said hello) and found him to be pleasant, professional and committed to providing great customer service.
Two examples:
1) I needed to do some last minute laundry and he was great about pointing me toward the guest laundry, explaining where powder/detergent were and about keeping the door open to use the dryer
2) I realised I’d need to check out very early (before 7:00 AM) and to have eaten breakfast first. Adrian helped arrange room service (cereal, juice, etc) to be delivered to my room the evening before.
As for the room, it was clean and had all of the amenities I needed. My only criticism hence the 4 star rating: the bathrooms could do with some renovating. The toilet seat was loose, wasn’t flushing properly as I learned the next time I used it and the shower wouldn’t stop dripping, which kept me awake somewhat.
Otherwise, was very happy with the place between ample and free parking, overall cleanliness and service. The other thing: it’s only about a 2 minute drive from the front beach and Sorrento’s main drag.

Limited options for staying in Sorrento and not great recent reviews but we had a very enjoyable stay. Our room was clean, mattress and bed linens all looked new and no complaints about anything in the room. However, we were in room 1 and the Wifi was terrible, kept dropping out and wasn’t strong enough when working to sustain even a short video sent via WhatsApp. When you’re travelling far from home, good Wifi is a must - when we mentioned it the next day, the receptionist seemed unbothered. If you need a bed for the night, this place is fine but …….it’s not on the beach!

Incredibly clean and comfortable room. Lovely crisply ironed sheets on the comfortable bed. The management was very responsive when we requested a special accommodation. This property does not have a beach view but it is a short drive into Sorrento.

This place has the cleanliness of a $100 a night motel for three times the price. I give it 1 star and am furious I chose to stay here.
If you have 0 standards and don’t mind living in filth- this place is for you. Black Mould, Dust, Stains, Poorly Maintained by people that clearly don’t care.
The bathroom and toilet is gross. You won’t want to touch anything- bring thongs to wear in the shower, while you are at it, pack some bleach, gloves and a scrubbing brush… you might want to clean before you enter.
I left this motel sick from the amount of dust, which ruined my holiday.
There is an old tv with poor reception and few channels… you won’t find Netflix here! Bring a DVD- they have a player. If you use the hairdryer it cuts the signal to the TV.
The best thing about this motel is it’s location being a short walk to the main strip. That’s all I have to say that’s good about it.

We stayed in Room 1 which for the two of us was comfortable and well situated. Check in was easy and straight forward and the parking directly outside our unit was convenient with plenty of room to reverse out. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our two night stay. We ordered breakfast on our last morning, which arrived when we had requested and was hot. This was despite some very inclement weather, high winds and rain. Located within a short walk to the main shopping precinct. The hosts were friendly and polite. It looks like the rooms are being gradually improved.

If you like to stay at a place that makes you yearn for your own bed, here's the place. To sleep on springs is not a high priority for me, especially when the price is plus $400 a night (family room). Tidy enough and location to shops pretty good.

Comfortable room, good linen, really big dining table which was unexpected but very much appreciated as we had our friends coming over to visit from Melbourne. It was cold and pouring outside so we were stack in a room and had really great time at that big table. Beautifully appointed and colour coordinated. Very easy contactless check-in: received a text with all the info we could have needed. The key was at the door mat waiting for us.

Nice enough 3 star hotel but to have beach in the name I believe is inaccurate. It isn’t that close to the beach or the shops for that matter. At 150 quid a night for a three star I also thought a bit on the pricey side. Considering that in both Melbourne and Sydney I was staying in lovely four star hotels for around a 100 quid!

Hi there, pretty sure the Beach Motel is all non smoking but there are tables and chairs out in the grounds where you can smoke. The motel is a very good base for Peninsula walks & drives.
There are more places to choose from in the Sorrento area.
