Fantastic B & B. Cook yourself breakfast of eggs, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, bread for toasting, plus a variety of cereals, milk, orange juice, cocoa, variety of teas. Very friendly hosts. Dropped us off at a nearby winery so we didn't have to drive. Couple of donkeys in the rear paddock to feed. Very clean unit. Coonara heater for a bit of romantic atmosphere.

We enjoyed our stay here. The cottage was well appointed and very clean. There was a generous amount of food supplied for breakfast. We loved the fact it was a three minute walk to an excellent restaurant but it was in a quiet part of the country. It was very handy to all the vineyards. If you after some serenity this is a good place to find it.

Kookaburra cottage is a warm welcoming and special place with friendly hosts. The cute miniature donkeys were lovely neighbours. With a spa bath, wood heater and reverse cycle heating/cooling, comfort was guaranteed.

Louise is a great host. Made sure we had everything we needed from the start and we had as much information we needed. Beutifull setting, comfortable accomodation and very close to vinyards and short drive to coast. We loved it.

The cottage contains everything and I mean everything. The only thing you need to bring is your clothes. The cottage is very clean and comfortable. Lovely meadows outlook with two miniature donkeys called peppe and guido who love a pat on the chest. Breakfast is included with lots of options. A lovely quite place located close to vineyards and restaurants. Really worth a weekend away to unwind.

Within minutes of arriving at Stony Creek Cottages, we felt relaxed and comfortable. Hosts, Louise and Rob, were so friendly. Correspondence with Louise before arrival was easy, making us feel very excited about our weekend away. The Monterosso cottage is well fitted out, lovely warm fire, comfy bed and large spa bath. The miniature donkeys on the property, Pepe and Guido, were a delight. Walking distance from food and wine (and cider) destinations was a huge drawcard, therefore neither myself or my partner had to slow down on enjoying what the peninsula has to offer. Petit Tracteur is an easy five minute walk, a must for dinner while staying. Breakfast was great, with warm crossaints being delivered at a time that suited us, and the coffee machine was welcome addition to start our trip home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stony Creek Cottages. Would give more stars if I could. Thankyou Louise and Rob, we will be back!

My husband and I chose this cottage based on its proximity to Le petite Tracteur. The host Louise had a wonderful fire going for us In the wood burner for our arrival and plenty of provisions in the fridge. She was incredibly inviting and told us about all the good things to do in the local area. The cottage was clean, well equipped and had a spa bath. The view from the back of the cottage was stunning complete with an alpaca and baby donkeys. We would definitely recommend this as a place to stay and will be returning.

Stayed here 3 nights in Kookaburra Cottage, one of a pair of detached cottages down a small lane near Red Hill on the main Flinders road. An excellent central, quiet location with easy access to all of the peninsula attractions. An excellent restaurant (Le Petit Tracteur) a few minutes walk away. Accommodation superb, all breakfast provisions supplied. We could not ask for better.

We spent last weekend at these Cottages. Very comfortable, spotlessly clean and the place is obviously run by people who know how to attract people back. Thanks. The cottages are well located and within a short drive to some of the best Peninsula wineries.
