We booked here for a few days away (Monday - Thursday). Only for my husband and me. The place is huuuuuge and so neat and tidy. The unit we stayed in had 2 rooms - one with a double bed and one with 4 bunks. The linen was clean and definitely thick enough to warm us up. There was also an electric blanket on the double bed. There were enough lights (we did a bit of work), power points and cutlery, cups, plates, etc.

The location is spitting distance from the beach and even though we had gale force winds about on the second night, we never felt unsafe in the unit. All windows have day/night double blinds, which came in really handy to control the natural light. The location was very quiet, despite the place being about 75% full (my estimation).

The booking process was pretty painless. And we found the rates reasonable.

We will be back.

Our first visit to the Bellarine Bayside Park and we are so glad we stayed for 10 nights.
We booked an ensuite site facing the beach and we loved it. The best shower after nights of fishing right off the beach. We caught King George whiting and one bream. Best of all my husband took his kayak out fishing for an afternoon and that night we dining on huge flathead.
The days we weren’t fishing we were vineyarding and there are so many around, recommend Oneday Estate or Scotchmans so many to choose from.
A terrific area to holiday and best of all in low season NO screaming kids in the park.
The little town is sweet with all its eateries but you can’t go past this fabulous park.

Thi caravan park has everything you could ever need. We had a wonderful weekend away here in our caravan. The facilities are fantastic, the staff are very friendly and the sites are big so you aren’t super close to your neighbours. There isn’t a pool, but you don’t need one when you can walk 20mtrs and swim in the bay

10pm onwards - Kids running about screaming, groups of underage kids drinking & screaming on the beach front. (Some) Permanent residence partying, banging & laughing loud and have no consideration for anyone else(Anglers Rd near toilet block 4) they have the attitude that they own the place. You lodge a complaint and request the Park enforce their own terms and conditions with it to be quiet after 10pm, but all you get are Rangers driving around the camp site not doing anything about it, it’s like they are to scarred to get out of their car or just can’t be bothered. I highly recommend you holiday at a different holiday park, as others enforce the rules of respecting other campers. We’ve booked/paid for 4 more days, but we’re packing up and going today and never coming back.

We booked a caravan site at Portarlington months ago and paid a $150 deposit. Now more than SIX weeks out we have had to cancel our site over the easter period due to family circumstances. I understand their policy is non refundable, but they say they can't or WONT even offer a credit for future use. I find this most unacceptable as they have 6 weeks to sell the site on during Easter, which they will certainly do. This demonstrates pure greed and no good will at all. It is not as if we are cancelling just days out of the date. Most caravan parks and even airlines offer a credit! I am waiting to hear from management. I hope they see common sense and fairness

This is a huge caravan park perfectly located by the beach and walking distance to the Main Street and jetty. We stayed on a powered grass site early December before the holiday rush. The staff were nice and the presentation, maintenance and cleanliness of the park is a credit to the employees. I can highly recommend staying here.

I am always so unsure booking a room on the internet.
The room at Bayside Parks looks exactly like the room shown in the photo. BIG PLUS considering most hotels try to bait and switch.

Very sweet and prompt service
Thank you!

We stayed for 3nights on a powered site in a caravan. There was very little shade to due lack of trees as they had been cut down, the wind was very strong blowing thru and the amenities are on the older side but they were keep clean regularly. There was stolen bikes from sites over night which was not good and we felt uncomfortable leaving any equipment unlocked on site. Close to town is good & the beach is very gentle.

The location is great although the set out is not the best as there is only one way in and out and if you are in the cabins it is a long way to reception. The cabins themselves are good and the cleaning staff are very pleasant. Unfortunately I cannot say that the management is as good. When I made the booking we were quoted $240 for 4 nights with a buy 2 nights get one free plus a fourth night. Unfortunately, when we got there I realized I had forgotten my paperwork and they tried to charge me $475. It took a while for this to be sorted and I ended up paying more than I was quoted. Also their internet is a bit erratic and there is nothing in the room folder to tell you how to get a connection. I had to go all the way to reception and was given a piece of paper with the instructions. Make sure you get a cabin that has a toilet block in the line of sight or you can end up walking all over try to get a connection. Would recommend the location but would have to think about re-booking here.

We visited the Bellarine camping grounds for a holiday with friends over Easter 2013.
The sites themselves are reasonable in size and easily allowed for a 10 man tent and a car or even a caravan. The park is well positioned near the main town and beach accessible with a short walk to either piers.
The grounds themselves have 2 major toilet/shower blocks with combination locks on the doors so only camp ground patrons should be able to access the facilities, each with a playground and BBQ accessibility right next to it.
The site is of course powered and has a single plug to each site so you may need a double adapter if you have more than 1 tent on the site.

The Good:
- A 2 minute drive or 6 minute walk into town
- Sites are kept clean and trucks come to collect garbage daily
- Toilets are cleaned daily (Twice we believe)
- Sites are well maintained and do not have much debris lying around where tents will be erected.

The Bad:
- The site sits on a main road so road traffic can be quite annoying in early morning
- The site does not have any way to enforce noise rules so unruly patrons are allowed to be loud into the early morning
- There is very little area besides the main BBQ area that are covered so in the event of a decent downpour you will be relegated to your tent/caravan

The Ugly:
- The cleaning method of the toilets can leave a lot to be desired as while sitting in the end cubical going about my business I found myself in a tidal wave of water with no warning as the filthy water swelled around my feet

The best way is to contact the place directly about the prices. It is between 40 - 50 Australian dollars for powered site. Nice showers and good kitchen facilities as well.
