We had a spa treatment being a massage for 1 hour then a beautiful facial for another hour. The massage was divine and the facial luxurious. We were not rushed and once all completed we were offered a lovely warm tea and glass of sparkling wine.

Stunning at all levels. Lon is a really wonderfully built retreat - double-glazing, sealed, solid and high-quality mean it’s silent, warm and super comfortable even when the weather is rough. Our bed (in Nimbus) was the most comfortable we’ve slept in, facilities excellent, views amazing and the huge bath was a great surprise. Food, booze and service was excellent the whole weekend. Our spa treatment was professional, personal and lovely - staff offered us a bonus steam room experience as time allowed. We walked the property - recommend checking out the Moonah woodland and the owners’ abundant veggie patch. We came home so inspired by the landscaping of the retreat that we’re using it as our muse for a new garden design. Will most certainly be back!

Amazing stay! My partner and I took up their offer on the regional revival package. Katie was so helpful and pleasant to deal with and made us feel so welcome. The retreat is surrounded by beautiful nature, it’s calming, inviting and well designed. Our suite “Cumulus” was WOW amazing! The size, design, ambiance and furnishings were so well thought out. So much detail and thought has gone into this place. It’s a luxury retreat however non pretentious at all. We absolutely loved our stay and will plan to go back for sure. The pool and spa was absolute heaven. Treen from the spa was a delight to deal with she made us feel so relaxed and calm. Thank you Katie and Treen for the fantastic service. My partner and I highly recommend this retreat to anyone who needs to unwind and relax. Do it! Book now.

After a busy few months, this was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Our room (Cumulus) was comfortable, modern with everything we needed, complete with our own fireplace and wine collection. We loved the delicious pre-ordered meals we could cook in our suites so that we didn't have to worry about dinner reservation times. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather so that we could walk to the beach, the lighthouse and around the lovely farm. If you're looking to get out of the city and take some time to unwind, we can't recommend the Lon Retreat enough. We loved it so much, we've already rebooked our next stay.

The Lon retreat is outstanding. The location is incredible. You are surrounded by water and a lovely country outlook. The staff were professional and friendly. The spa treatments were out of this world as were all the facilities. Our room had everything we wanted and was very stylish. It is a great option to have the meal service and the food was delicious. We will definitely plan to return for another reset. This is the place to go to recharge and relax.

Quality facilities with lots of classy touches both within the suite and around the property. "Cirrus" has great views, plenty of space, kitchenette, outdoor deck and neat little breakfast bar facing the ocean. Short walk to a "not crowded" beach, great guest pool area, and excellent honour system pantry with local goodies. Staff were lovely, already thinking of when to return.

Lon retreat was just as amazing as it was described! Getting there was a little bit hard since it was quite out of the way (as it would be since it’s on farmland as well as near the beach), but once we got there, it was just breathtaking. The scenic views, the calmness, the nature, it was like something out of a fairy-tale. The commons areas were all amazing, including the interior, exterior as well as how carefully kept the furniture was. It also always had a scent, which helped to calm the nerves and relax the body. Each room had something that would help us, whether it be self-serve or small things like coasters or even just a chair. The small details taken at Lon was incredible! Moving to the room, we stayed in Nimbus, one on the 2nd floor. It was a cozy room and a little different to the pictures on the website, with an added TV instead of a painting, but it overlooked a scenery that screamed relaxation and break. Food was provided from when it was booked, and it had instructions on how to heat it up and enjoy. Overall experience, it was very calming and a good way to destress and get away from a fast-paced life. Would definitely love to come back here again!

We stayed two nights at the Lon Resort in Point Lonsdale, and it was pure heaven. We felt we had the run of a private home and property. Hardly saw anyone else and I know the rooms were all full. So peaceful. We stayed in the Nimbus room and had a wonderful view of the ocean, watching the ships roll in and out. It was beautifully appointed and everything you could want. We didn't partake of any spa treatments, but certainly enjoyed the mineral pool and soak spa. We chose to walk the property and working farm and the private beach walk to a most beautiful beach. You could order food ahead of time, but we chose to go to the pub in Queenscliff and then to Point Lonsdale the next night. Breakfast was supplied for the first morning only, granola, yoghurt, fruit compote and fruitbread. Plunger coffee was supplied and lovely teas as well. We had a cheese board and sat on our deck with some lovely local wine that we picked up from a winery trip. Beautiful stay, total reboot. Will be back for sure.
