While we arrived later in the day and left early we were very impressed with this caravan park. Great location beside the river just upstream from the ocean so the roar of the waves were always present in the background. Big thumbs up for the very clean facilities and guest kitchen etc. I would imagine in peak time you would need to book but we were thankful to find a dog friendly park that was along our planned route.
Very convenient pub across the road when you didn't feel like cooking and don't miss the closeby lookouts for spectacular views of the coast.

Garry, Gayle and our old doggy Eddie stayed 4 nights in our caravan on a powered site. This park is set in a lovely location, is clean and fresh, with good showers ( except for the water pressure in one cubicle) and amenities. The large modern camp kitchen and games rooms are certainly impressive, and the owners and staff all friendly and cheery without exception. Our stay was early March, and social distancing and sanitation conditions had been ramped up, and we felt perfectly safe. From there the difficult conditions has forced us to come and stay home, so thank you lovely Peterborough people for ensuring we enjoyed our last trip away for what might be a long time.

We just spent 2 nights here in our Camper. The Park is beautifully located next to Curdies Inlet with large, quiet camp sites. The amenities were spacious and clean with lovely touches such as bath mats and shower curtains to go with free hot showers and great water pressure. Friendly, helpful staff and we were able to take our dog too! We will return!!

We stayed during winter in a camper. Wendy the host was amazing and would do anything for you. Great location. Great ammenities. Very clean. Games room and kitchen was neat and useable.
I had mentioned I wanted to watch the state if origin rugby. Wendy not only tuned in the tv in the games room to the channel, she walked down and let me know it was all set.
Nothing but praise.

The cabins, while quaint and unassuming on the exterior, are surprisingly comfortable, tidy and spacious. I had the most uninterrupted sleep during my stay which is an essential element of travel on road.

The reception staff were courteous, friendly and very helpful throughout my interaction with them. The internet was surprisingly fast and steady.

I would recommend this place for anyone traveling through the Great Ocean Road.

We spent a lovely weekend here. This park is perfect for children, with lots of outdoor activities and a great indoor games/tv/kitchen dining room. The park is very quiet and the river inlet is perfect for children.
After lots of activities during the day, it was lovely to sit by an open fire in the evening and reflect on our day. We stayed in a cabin which was well equipped. We’ll definitely return.

What a lovely hidden gem. This is my new favourite place. Fabulous proximity to all the major attractions and Port Campbell but hidden away in a lovely spot. The little shop there on the Main Street is super well stocked up. A cute little coffee shop across from the park and beautiful views of the beach and inlet. The park is a popular stop and busy with lots of people coming and going but considering that it was still very quiet. There are lovely cute little cabins too. We had two caravans and were able to be next to each other. The staff were lovely and friendly. The manager Sarah went above and beyond to help us and make us feel comfortable and welcome. You could have pets and borrow fire pits with wood for sale. I want to keep this place my own secret but it’s too good to not rave about it. There is a kitchen, indoor bbq area, laundry with a baby bath and the usual cubicles for showers and bathrooms. They were clean enough and exactly what we needed. My only suggestion was maybe a wooden bench against the wall to be able to sit/get dressed outside the small shower cubicles for families.

I stayed for 1 night in 1 bedroom cabin and it was a pleasant one. The location is about 20 minutes driving from the Twelve Apostles. The unit was clean and tidy. They provided basic cooking facilities and there are communal laundry and bathroom too. I'll come back and recommend my family and friends to stay here for this area.

Decided to celebrate regional lockdown end with weekend blitz adventure of Great Ocean Road.
Booked a riverside cabin (no. 11) for our Saturday afternoon/night.
Kids had a great time paddling around the safe estuary of Curdies River.
Cabin had delightful porch with view. Clean, spacious and comfortable.
Friendly hosts and great base to explore area.

Was our first caravan park we stayed in for our travels, friendly staff and loved how they allowed dogs, even though we left ours behind. Lovely walks along the beach and had tea - take away at local pub - meals were delicious.
Great place to base yourself to sightsee, 12 apostles & Port Campbell.
We will be back.

Hi Tina Yes there is a communal amenities block with showers and toilets that you can use when staying on an unpowered site. Whilst small, the town of Peterborough has a small licensed grocer and there's a larger supermarket at Timboon (15 mins north). Unpowered sites are $30 per night off peak for 2 people. Kind regards, Sarah GORTP
