Christmas and New Year we visited Burnbrae with some friends for lunch and afternoon tea. The food as always was excellent and they have now added a tearoom at the back of the homestead which has a very pleasant outlook and the food is delicious!! The accommodation is very comfortable too according to friends who have stayed there.

We recently celebrated a 50th wedding anniversary here and it was the perfect venue. Our buffet lunch was excellent, the pork dish with prunes and apples and absolute highlight. Liz our host was great providing just the right amount of attention! The kids loved roaming the grounds, the gardens are lovely. Will happily return.

We went there as part of a senior men's mobility tour. Our hostess was nothing short of hospitable. It felt like she was genuinely happy to have us there and couldn't do enough for us all. Compliments all round for the food, establishment and hosts. Thank you again for having us. We will be back

My friends planned a surprise luncheon party with Liz Byron for our 80th wedding anniversary. It was a surprise party and 14 friends attended. Liz provided a three course luncheon with choices for each course which were delicious . All our friends were delighted with the arrangements and we spent a very happy time at Burn Brae.

Burnbrae is a lovely boutique accommodation and gourmet dining homestead. I have had lunch here on two occasions and have been suitably impressed on both occasions. The menu is small but the options are delicious. If you phone ahead the owner is also very adept at catering for guests with special dietary needs. On each occasion she took us on...
