I stayed at Kookaburra Cottage and everything was just perfect! The view is breathtaking!!! all the small details in the room it made all the difference. The breakfast they left for us was very generous. We had an amazing 3 days of stay. The only down point and I was very disappointed by that made me very disappointed was that just a few minutes before the check out (we had about 15 min left), when we were still taking our belongings out of the house, a person came in and started cleaning the house, while we were still inside, taking out the our things. We felt very invaded, disrespected and it made us rethink if we would go back there or recommend this place to someone... I'll leave a tip here, while you're taking things to your car, lock the door and take the key so you don't have it your privacy invaded!

We stayed just one night at Cambridge cottages. It was a couple night away and wow we were not disappointed. They cottage was beautiful, very clean and all little touches help make our stay special... Chocolate, sherry, DVDs, magazines and a generous supply for breakfast. The cottage is amongst the trees and very private. We can't wait to return!

We stayed in the loft cabin. It was so quiet and peaceful, surrounded by nature. The spa was amazing and the candles around the house made for a romantic night. The host was lovely. The kitchenette had everything we needed to make dinner & breakfast. Would definatetly stay again!! 10/10

Beautiful cottage in a really nice area close to shops. Had all the amenities that we could ask for (wonderful breakfast, games, DVDs, recommendations for things to do in the area). The staff were lovely and we had an amazing time. We can’t wait to come back!

We stayed at the Kookaburra cottage and our friends stayed at the Currawong cottage for 2 nights. Both cottages are very warm, comfortable and have all the little extras that you expect and delighted to find such as DVDs, candles, board games and a welcome drink of port if you like. The Currawong cottage is on one level. The kookaburra cottage has the bedroom upstairs and the bathroom downstairs. This was fine for us but would be an issue for others as it is a steep staircase and if you are tall you might need to watch your head also. The bedroom has no where to hang anything, but there is a cupboard downstairs. Personal the bed was a bit hard for me also. I didn’t see the owner as a note was left at reception for our arrival and she wasn’t home when we dropped the key back, which is completely fine with me. Very private spot, close enough to walk between the two cottages to have a wine or two with our friends in the next cottage but also allowed us all to have some privacy as well. Wi-fi is terrible but we were ok with that 😊

Such a charming cottage in a truly beautiful private setting. The little touches included were very thoughtful and what an amazing breakfast basket. Walking distance to lovely gardens and the shops make it an ideal location as well, off the main road makes it nice and quiet.

Olinda is a great spot to be based for a couple of days to explore this beautiful area of the world. Cambridge Cottages are perfect - we stayed in Currawong ( the bathroom is same level as the bedroom). Communication with our hosts was clear and timely during the booking process. On arrival music was playing, the cottage was the perfect temperature, the decor lovely, the breakfast hamper very generous and chocolate and sherry a relaxing way to start our stay. The cottage was immaculate, the bed very comfortable. The extra touches of Cds and dvds made us feel very welcome. Our bed faced a large window that looked out to the garden and to wake to the treed view in the quiet was so restorative. I would highly recommend Cambridge Cottages for adults who wish to enjoy some serenity.

My wife and I stayed for a couple of nights midweek to have a reprieve of the hustle and bustle of normal life with 3 kids. I loved how the cottage felt like it was secluded and private and we just enjoyed feeling like we were in the middle of a glorious bush with gorgeous flowering trees all around us. The room was fabulous with good quality furnishings, crockery, towels etc so we felt like we were really “treated”. It had everything you could need and my wife fell in love with the heated towel rack and gas log fire! The location is perfect, being only a 5 minute walk to the botanical gardens, and the town of Olinda is so cute. While the hosts were away, the couple who were looking after us were just gorgeous and couldn’t be more helpful. We highly recommend Cambridge Cottages, Olinda:)

If you're looking for the ultimate quiet and comfortable stay with everything supplied, then look no further than this place. Karen's attention to detail is obvious wherever you look, from the fantastic supplied breakfast to all the home comforts in a magnificent forest setting with outdoor balcony looking into the trees. This accommodation is better than 5 star, highly recommended and for the price would be hard to beat. Thanks Karen , I'm sure we'll be back.

Lovely cottage that has been built and furnished with much attention to detail. Very private and quiet. This is the stuff of memories. Much attention to detail. A few little things may deter - the Internet is problematic, the phone coverage (other than Telstra) is non-existent, the last stretch of road will rattle your bones, the bedroom is upstairs while the bathroom is down and there is a bit of a walk between car park and cottage. For us, these were not a problem but they could be for some.

Thanks for choosing Cambridge Cottages, and for taking time to leave us your feedback. We're very happy you found Kookaburra Cottage luxurious and private and that you'll have some lovely memories of your stay here. It's unfortunate that the Dandenong Ranges do make phone and internet coverage patchy - which for some is a good way to unplug and get away from it all - and many unsealed roads constantly require attention from the Yarra Ranges Council. We do recommend guests and visitors come via Monash Avenue to avoid the intersection of Williams and Falls Rd to make their journey more comfortable. We hope you'll come and stay again soon.
